- I bought a A GT3 RS Steering Wheel to install on my Porsche 911 997.1 Carrera 4S. In this video we take my Porsche 911 997.1 Carrera 4S to royal steering wheels to install the upgrade after its been refurbed!

Having had a wheel re-trimmed by them I think Royal Steering Wheels are superb. My name’s not Karen but I have seen many deaths and injuries caused by bad driving. Your one handed driving, however, is absolutely dangerous, it definitely meets the definition for careless driving and at 62 mph as shown on your car’s speedo in the video, it probably meets the test for reckless. Not only is all of your driving one handed, frequently it was no handed. Why don’t you contact your local roads policing unit for their opinion and consideration for prosecution. You sir, are irresponsible and dangerous as you have publicly demonstrated. You should contact Joe Achilles to learn of his experience when he posted videos when he was speeding. Better still someone might forward your video for you. Great self generated evidence. 😂

Another great video which I have just watched before I leave for Royal Steering Wheels to have my upgraded steering wheel fitted to my daily X3. Seeing the work that they have done on your car I am really looking forward to !! Your car is looking really great 👏👏 think that I will have a word with them about fitting Alcantara to my PDK gear change in my 997GTS - since I already have the Alcantara steering wheel. Loving the steering wheel but it may be safer for you and everyone else on the road if you kept at least one hand on it instead of changing gear/ turning the wipers on and off etc with one hand while the other is, I guess, holding a camera. Especially in the wet !

Maybe cheaper to just get the left side of the wheel done as you dont even touch it with your right hand, then maybe get an alcantara phone case😂😂

Oh mate, what a wrong decision to go Alcantara, no matter what you do with the wheel it will turn scabby as will the handbrake and gear knob but the gaiter will be fine. I know it’s your personal taste and you may like it but Alcantara hates the oils in your hands. You’ll need to either use driving gloves or at the very least get yourself a bottle of Dodo Juice, it’s the only stuff I found that cleans it back to how it should look. (the stuff on my blue QV was rank by the time I traded it in)Alcantara looks great all the time cos it’s UV stable when it’s used in places that don’t get hand traffic or body contact like on seats. Last part of the video you said you won’t put many miles on it so the Dodo Juice will keep it tip top. It does look fab, it’s just the worst material to keep that way!!

Nice. I didn’t buy it off your boxster though did i, nor does the boxter wheel come with dark grey inserts, nor is it alcantara from factory so you may have the sport steering wheel but I still bought it and it came off a 997.1 GT3 RS its a 3RS wheel. Ta

Rear gt3 bumper now ?
Has to be a gt3 RS bumper due to it being a wide body. Not cheap to do and need to do centre exit exhaust at the same time. But it’s on the list!

not sure it was much of an upgrade there not that different, no wheel controls , maybe better off upgrading door speakers and amplifier, also the rear spoiler is a bit ott.
The spoiler is part of the factory aero kit (I think it looks great ) if you think it’s ott maybe take it up with Porshe 🙄

It’s already got a Bose sound system. It’s perfectly good.
