Basically it’s works with thermal image printing so it heat lasers the letters into the special paper turning it black in the shape of each letter it’s what is used to make receipts if you hold a strong heat to a receipt it turns black

I have the exact same one for my Etsy and I love it! It's so easy! I find the best size is 62mm x 30m one, which I found a bulk lot on AliExpress for a lot cheaper than the Brother ones. It means you can create the size label that works the best, without having precut label sizes to work around. I love that you can put your logo on it, and use typefaces on your computer! I absolutely love mine!
does this work if u r printing postage labels from PayPal or royal mail?
jenel morris I’m not sure, I only use Etsy, but it’s basically a copy and paste job. So Etsy has a ‘copy address’ button and I just copy it and paste it right into the program and then click print so I’m sure it would work!

My label printer is literally the best thing i ever bought for my business.
I don't get as many orders as you but it still saves so much time as before i was just printing on paper cutting and sticking it down took forever

Little tip for address labels that you print out yourself is just put tape over it, so it's waterproof.

Hahaha, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I just recently bought this same printer. And I had the same issue with plugging it in, but then I re read the instructions and it told me to go the website link 🤦🏾😂😂 the whole time I was watching you, I wished I could tell you to pick up the manual haha. I had originally dismissed it but quickly realised Macs make everything harder haha

Thank you very much for the video! Just ordered one for myself. It looks like it's possible to merge addresses from a spreadsheet into the label templates, which should be another nice time saver - downloading the cvs with orders from etsy, then printing them in one go by connecting the template to the cvs

Good rewiew, specially cause I have the same Mac almost ten years ago and can't afford to buy a new one, some devices are not being compatible for a 9-10 year old Mac so we struggle working and making money to buy more "modern" devices. Great review thanks!!

I used to use a Dymo label writer for my address labels and it was brilliant but when I got my Royal Mail account I needed something that would print 4" x 6" postage labels. I bought a second hand Zebra GC420d on Ebay for about £70. I get the labels free from royal mail and all of my orders go directly to my royal mail dashboard. No copying and pasting! I can then print out the delivery address, my returns address and the postage all on one label. Then I just put my post in the sacks and drop them off at the post office. I love it!

Very cool! It works just like a receipt printer you would find at any retail store (In the us at least) but with labels instead of register tape

Love your fun nature. Hun, seen as you get so many orders. I seriously think you should consider getting a business account with Royal Mail, they have a shipping system that syncs with most web shops. That way all the details from the orders sync and you don't need to copy and paste info for each order. They have a pre-designed label so you won't be able to add a logo( Well I don't think you can) but it is much much faster. I used to have to go and manually go in and add addresses and it was so time-consuming trying to format things and errors were easily made. Using Royal mail click and collect for business is more efficient and most likely you will get improved shipping costs that you can in-turn pass on to your customers. Of course, if you are happy with your current system that's great, just letting you know my experiences as you not have been aware that they do that. Keep being amazing, your energy is infectious, you rock. xx

I LOOOVE Brother printers! The company I used to work for used then to print receipts for their customers and those printers would throw out hundreds of receipts every single day and I never saw them fail in 5 years.

Your vlogs are so fun and inspiring! I find that I can't wait until you post the next one. My 12 yo daughter and I are currently trying to create a small business, but my fear of failing level has hit an all-time high, would it be possible for you to create a video on how you first got started? What your "Reason why" was and how you overcame certain fears. What tools you started out with or without. Maybe advice on what beginners don't need to invest in yet = how to save money in the beginning (until they become more successful).
P.S. your unboxing vlogs are so fun to watch too, I like how even when you struggle you keep things light and funny!

After registering the device on my MacBook Air, I went to download and tried to download the ptouch editor it couldn’t find my printer device ? How do I fix this

I followed your steps and created my own label (I need to create several templates), but it won't let me save my designs. It just get the message "This document could not be saved". It also gives me the continual message "Not autosaved".
Such a simple thing, I assume, but please can you talk me through just saving a label, on a Mac. Much appreciated

I just bought mine and i am experiencing what you have. Its not plug and play for mac. But i do think the p-touch lite is better but not compatible with Mac.
