This comedy from the trio of Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker (famed for AIRPLANE! and THE NAKED GUN) is about a married couple (Judge Reinhold and Helen Slater) kidnapping the wife of their ex-boss (Bette Midler) in order to get revenge and extort his money. It turns out that said ex-boss (Danny DeVito) doesn't want her back and was in fact intending to kill her for them. Anita Morris plays the boss' mistress, who attempts to blackmail him.

Why did Touchstone seem so hellbent on giving away the ending of this movie? The menu shot comes from towards the end, and on the DVD cover, Bette Midler's wearing the same thing she did in the last scene. (Maybe it's because that's the only time she and Danny DeVito are shown on-screen together.)
