Whether Hans cheated or not, we won't know. I do believe that Magnus believed Hans cheated. Magnus doesn't get mad at those who beat him, he gets mad at himself.
@@paullee1521 We know that Hans did not cheat OTB in the same way we know Magnus did not. I too believe that Magnus believes Hans cheated, which is hilarious. It's like Magnus would play a game OTB without knowing the opponent, and if he loses he needs to know the opponent to determine if he throws a fit.
Pure class. What a guy. It's so fascinating to watch him play, and him handling the loss as a true gentlemen is just icing on the cake. Hats off to Magnus.
Big props for letting him mate you. Don’t think many players would let that happen. You are the greatest to ever play the game, and this guy mated you. Crazy impressive.
If his opponent used an engine then he was a master at it because it didn´t look anything like stockfish. Like the Goat said, solid play from opponent. The guy is +3k elo. He is gonna punish a 2500 and Magnus almost the same way if the error is big enough.
I thank Carlsen for his Chess videos. I suffer from decision anxiety and unrested mind. Watching him play chess especially when he looses helps me learn to deal with difficult decision making and keeping cool.
Allowing the mate when u are magnus fucking carlsen should NEVER go unnoticed for sure... there is a high % chance that is his opponents greatest chess moment of his life... way to go, awesome sportsmanship ❤
For some reason, when the best chess player in human history is saying durin a live stream while playing chess:"How is this guy so good?" ... it cracks me up every time :)))
Magnus is distracted with the chat. If he was fully focused on the game I don't think he would have lost. When playing a skilled opponent that is 3000+, even making the smallest of mistakes can result in a loss.
I have pretty much given up on understanding "accuracy" I'm a lousy lousy player like 13-1400, and sometimes get 90-95% "accuracy" like if i was 100% every game , i would be stockfish 3600 rated. I am NOT 95% as accurate as stockfish, neither is Magnus. Its some sort of relative estimation of the game. Dont listen to it.😂
Kramnik , for instance , has got it in his head that if someone plays a 98% accurate game, they are cheating, as if they are 2% away from being an engine. As I said , I dont know how how it calculates but its not "% away from engine"
Like maybe , in a 50 move game, in several positions, there will be 5 or 6 really good moves , but are sub-optimal , and if you do any of those , you will be deducted 0.2% or something and that adds up to 2%. Something like that

No possible way a someone -200 Elo can beat Magnus (we must be talking about Hans.) If you are too excited after beating the world's best and you don't clearly explain the game then you cheated (if Hans.) If you have ever cheated online then you cheat all the time even OTB (if Hans.) Everyone can easily cheat OTB, it's so simple (for Hans, apparently nobody else.)
