Tho I listen to both Marduk, Gorgoroth and the before mentioned bands, I still find this really good. Not only is it fast and brutal, but it still has some melody to it. Never heard of them before, but I hope I will run into again. Haters gonna hate. eod
Interesting how the professional critics are all loving this (heck even MetalSucks gave it 3.5/5 which is a very good score for a lesser known band on an unpopular label) but the comments are mostly negative. I feel like a lot of the comments are from Victory Records fans who are only used to the Hot Topic type stuff they normally release (I admit i like some of it but my point still stands).

Black metal doesn't have to by satanic. A lot of modern black metal bands are atheist if anything, then there's Unblack (christian black) metal. And Chthonic are black metal but all their lyrical content centres around their country's (Taiwan) history.
