Been listening to the Filth for over 30 years, and as a fan I think this is the best thing they've done in years. Every aspect is in perfect harmony, plus it's a great video. I've been humming the musical hook after the chorus constantly.
Pretty amazing how this band is still going strong after 33 years. They never seem to slow down. Cruelty And The Beast was the first album I ever bought from them. I never heard such a haunting album before in my life.
Same here man, to this day its my favorite CoF album. I literally feel like im walking through dark, castle corridors under bleak, grey skies when i listen to that album. The atmosphere, the lyrics, the riffs everything is so on point in that album.

It's been about 21 years for me, and I'm still impressed as to how they are regularly coming out with new material that's interesting and fresh. There were a few missteps (looking at you Thornography and Manticore). Yet, mostly bands who've been around for as long as them (33 years, I think) are phoning in new material (or not putting it out) so they can go out and make money touring.
C.O.F. is one those bands that will never get commercial, fake or boring. They kept their unique style after so long. It's always a pleasure to hear them, they never disappoint.
PS: Dani Filth literally has an awesome combo from high pitched scream, to growl, to clean vocals and nails all of them and fits it into telling a lovely, or gruesome story, with such a passion in it, and that makes him of one of the best Vocalist imo :-)

CoF have the fire back in a big way. They started displaying this beginning with "Hammer of the Witches" and took it from there, and I'm glad to see they're keeping it up. The female vocal solo bit early on in this one took me back to the olden days of Cradle where they had that delightfully stilted Goth girl vibe to them! Perfect spooky season/Halloween music, and the music reminded me of "From The Cradle to Enslave" in a great way. Dani obviously can't shriek like he used to, but he's making good use of what he's got, and making it work well. Nice work, lads (and lady)!

First Time hearing COF from their Midian album. From the Gates of Midian to Chthulhu Dawn was the first moment I felt goosebumps from hearing music. This first impression really caught me for years now and still. COF will always be a special band to me despite their changes of band members or musical direction.
Well, the guitarists who was there in the beginning and developed their original sound certainly get their flowers. Can't say the same for our pinhead cosplayer in the band 😒
Like for real their whole image these days is corny as hell. We have dani copying carach angren. Never been a fan of their corpse paint or music. The rest of the band looks like their corpse paint was designed by an artistically challenged teenager. Then we have pinhead who sticks out like a sore thumb. The 90s and early 2000s were the best years for cradle of filth. No doubt in my mind on that.
They def do I mean he’s even done song collabs with Corey Taylor. In the past. And as much as you don’t like some people hate slipknot and Corey but they are too of the food chain. And every album they release is number 1 on billboard charts over all other musical genres All hope is gone #1 grey chapter #1 We are not your kind #1. The end so far #1. All albums before that not sure if they were number 1 but Iowa is my favorite of all the albums. And self titled.
Real talent, it is amazing for how long this guys have been making GREAT MUSIC, since I heard the first song, they still have it and the dark magic feeling still alive. A true fan from Costa Rica.

This song remains me of their 2006 album THORNOGRAPHY which I really enjoyed. Also I'm glad this current drummer is still around, he does a really good job with the band!

Like for real their whole image these days is corny as hell. We have dani copying carach angren. Never been a fan of their corpse paint or music. The rest of the band looks like their corpse paint was designed by an artistically challenged teenager. Then we have pinhead who sticks out like a sore thumb.
The 90s and early 2000s were the best years for cradle of filth. No doubt in my mind on that.
They def do I mean he’s even done song collabs with Corey Taylor. In the past. And as much as you don’t like some people hate slipknot and Corey but they are too of the food chain. And every album they release is number 1 on billboard charts over all other musical genres All hope is gone #1 grey chapter #1 We are not your kind #1. The end so far #1. All albums before that not sure if they were number 1 but Iowa is my favorite of all the albums. And self titled.

I remember a Concert with Old Mans Child (Ill Natured Album Times - so damn good...) Gorgoroth and Cradle as Headliner. Dani and the Band were on fire. Memorable Gig.

I've listened to COF since From the Cradle to Enslave EP, and... this song is REALLY hitting all the right spots for me. It's amazing.
How does Cradle have any right to be this good in 2024? There were a rough few years in the middle there, but Dani and Co. feel like they've finally found the perfect balance between goth and extreme metal.
