40 hp for 1.85 lakhs and people are still complaining about headlight 😂
Hahaha
spec sheet means nothing if they cheap out on everything else.
Its on the paper but if you to drag with a 250 duke there will be not much of a difference
We are buying a whole bike.. not only specssheet and not only engine...
@@uddipangarrix340 mate don't talk out of your ass now the Dominar 400 has already beated the fuck out of Duke 250
I know it's not looking very different from other pulsers. But if anyone want a complete redesigned product under 2lac price for 400cc bike then they r living under a rock. R&D cost money but nobody wants to pay for it.
Bingo with the comment
I agree but why change the headlamp they should have kept the orignal NS headlamp, baki sab bada deta like big rear tyre bigger disk bigger this bigger that , headlamp pr hi kyu hagna tha😂
@@pratikrchavan9093 See Looks is a very subjective thing, I can't say anything about that. I have triumph speed 400 because I like classic look, lot of people doesn't like the look of speed 400. So u cant make everyone happy right?
Bro who asked for bike under 2 lac that to 400cc . Those who can buy 400cc already know prices of other available options. So who asked. Bajaj should have invested in R&D and should have come up with completely new more aggressive more sporty bike. Definitely that new platform will be used by Bajaj in new upcoming higher cc bikes. So no wastage of investment.
@@rg....5689 then there are other options if anyone don't like it. Buy ktm or triumph or Harley or hero. Even bajaj has dominar for 2.8 lac price everything missing in pulsar people can get in dominar. They needed to make a bike for different price segment without hampering sales of existing models what I think.
I don’t know what everyone is crying about, getting a 400c with 35+ps for 1.85 lakhs seems like a sweet deal. Yeah it might not be the prettiest, fastest or the most agile but for what you’re paying for, it is incredible value and seems like a great upgrade for 150cc riders without breaking the bank.
Fastest??..bro belive me this bike go around 170kmph for sure and it's pretty fast when you consider a 373cc Motorcycle
Quality and reliability of the bike is biggest?😅
Bro its dominar 400 engine with light weight body , im already expecting better top speed than d400
@@rajaprabhu.a732 bro og pulsar bikes are still going good, depends on how you maintain it, im proud owner of ns200 ns4 abs for the past 5 yrs and i knw there are many more pulsar maniacs ,who trust the reliability of these bikes as much as i do
@@RohanSingh-bl6qv you can but don't expect the poise
Insane pricing. While some can never be satisfied who will buy nothing Thank you Bajaj ❤
Absolutely
so disapointed ..
Why so??
While it does seem like a solid product, i think it's 8 years late, there are few changes in the design but it does still look like NS200 which in itself was launched in 2012 that was 12 year ago, duke 200 on which the NS 200 was based engine wise is itself on its 3 rd iteration design wise, i yhink Bajaj should have worked on completely new design with some subtle hints from the original pulsar design to connect back to its legacy, bajaj not utlizing this launch to consolidate their Pulsar line up is a bit of missed opportunity for me, i am still quite sure this product will do well sale wise cuz the NS design still seems to hit a chord with some markets, but the direction of Pulsar brand i dont seem quite sure of it. I mean as a owner of Pulsar UG4 would i go for this pulsar if i am in market for a 400 CC machine, not quite sure of that.
That’s right. The design doesn’t feel new or exciting
Bajaj se accha kaam toh hero kar raha hai. At least they are working on engine and design of their bikes.
👏👏👏
Jisko achha nahi laga vo jake r15 lelo 18 bhp wala or mt lelo ischhe 15 20 hazar jyada de ke nahi to Duke 250 nahi to 390 lelo 3.80 lakh wala😂 jao amir admi ho to or dum he to lelo tumko nahi tumhare baap ko manna hoga ns400 is 400 cc segment king 👑

Impossible to hate on this bike now with that price tag. Insane VFM.

N250 headlight, NS200 frame, Dominar 400 engine. That sums up the review 😂😂
Not really!
Even the bike looks like it has an eye infection😂
Ouch
If this bike feels as good as ns200 on road, Nothing to complaint. 400cc at this price with NS kinda handling is epic already!
That’s what the first ride will answer
Did the cameraman want to pee very badly? bro could not even hold a single frame for few seconds, I hardly got to see the the bike in detail even pausing did not help 🤣🤣🤣

Deepak bhai 😂
1.80 lakhs for 400cc is too good 👍🏻
Yea. The value for displacement is quite good
Will there be an upgrade for Dominor 400 this year? It’s high time to give it some love it always deserved.
What all could we expect to see in an upgraded Dominor 2024?
Bajaj have confirmed there is something in the pipeline
This bike is for those who like the engine of Dominar but the design of Pulsar.
But the tune will be slightly different
No clip-on handle bar, no aluminium swing arm, same old tail light ☹️ nicely covered by PD 🙂❤. waiting for the drive review 🏍️
1.85 me Jaan lega kya inki
@@harshstar0 price is going to increase after the launch, it's not fixed. It will cost 2L once fully available everywhere. Then you will understand, changing tail light is not something costs lakhs, that's very basic thing and can be done. Since they're providing off-road mode so at least they can upgrade swing arm. U'll get same NS 160 swing arm in 400cc bike LOL.
Coming soon!
Bajaj never disappoints in disappointing us!
Right!
So its called NS400 Z... Leaving us with a suspense that there might be other version coming out such as NS400 R?? Hmmmm

By looking at the comment section....
It's evident that people here care tooo much about the looks over the vfm...
Yeah they don't want to enjoy the feel of power just show off, in today's time no company is ready to provide a 400cc engine at this pricing I am really happy and also sad because this will be a new target of chapris but they are also moving to r15 and other bikes where looks matter more
Well said
Its good for people who like being low key in traffic. Not so eye candy look but has more than enough power...not a easy target for traffic police
Yes😂
Right
Lmfao no road presence with this one, same design since last 10-12 years
We'd suggest you wait till it hits the road!
I dont understand why people are arent looking forward to this bike. I LOVE IT ❤
Exactly! But the whole point is the experience. It should ride well
At that price point there's no room for any complaints but c'mon they could've made it look a bit different
💯
Price dekhe to I can't believe on my eyes, other brand be like Bajaj hamara dhanda band krvake rahega😂😂
Ok guys lets wait for the ns 400 phase 2 😂
hahaha
I have a mix feeling about this bike. But since bajaj is no longer available in Indonesia, so there nothing that i can do about it 😂😂. 2 lakh rupee / Rp. 40 mio rupiah for 400 cc definetly a very good deal. You can not get that in Indonesia.
Ah haaa
How come the other videos in front of the Bajaj pool has different unit without split grab rails and this has split one?
That’s not the production bike.
Who is the fuking cameraman😅
😂
Doesn't even show the front
Exactly. Got headache with moving camera here and there in fraction of seconds.. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Apologies Sreeraj. Feedback noted
400cc bike just only 1.85₹ ex showroom in 2024. Thumbs up to Bajaj for the attractive Price. Bcoz there's no any manufacturing companies can't give this price.
Yeah. The price to displacement value is there
At this price.. Great VFM... But an aluminum swingarm would make it complete ..
But then an increase in cost!
I love it. I love everything about this bike.
Bajaj made sure to give ut good stuff from the other bikes in it's line-up
N250 Headlights
Dominars Engine
NS 200s chassis
and a price that can not be beat by any other company.
They should Never ever discontinue designs of 150, 220, rs, also relaunch 2001 design
It wont make sense
Disappointed with the design.... This should be different from other pulsars in terms of design.
Obviously
Think about pricing
It's a pulsar NS, of course it should like a pulsar NS and not something else. . . If you want something else, u have the dominar or their partners Triumphs and KTMs. . .
But power to weight ratio gonna be fine as f...k so we get more speed i guess
Its an NS family member, it had to have some resemblance.
A little change in design would have made it better option. I rode NS200 for 5 years, sold recently 400z does not look much different than NS200 though it has lot of power now.
Big jump in performance
NS200 has a wheelbase of 1363mm while NS400z has a wheelbase 1344mm.... I wonder If that would cause any problems for maneuvering or stability concerns on high speeds
We will test that during our first ride!
...ns160 has 1371 mm😂😂
What a machine!! Just love it.. being a bs4 Ns owner I'd definitely love to buy it
Right on!
Wen was Xpluse line up with 400cc launch planned? any info on that?
End of the year
Unbelievable👍!
400cc in the price of XMR 210 🔥
haha yes!
Everyone shitting on this bike I get most of their points but the price just makes all of that criticism irrelevant. 2L for 373cc sports bike with all the tech such as traction control, riding modes etc. who even cares about the design?
And honestly, it looked really bad in the leaked photos but in launch videos it looks much better. I don't have a problem with the design especially because of the price.
Well said
Guy's just grabe this opportunity, bang for the buck
Looks like it
Will there be a fully fared model? Like SS 400 that was promised 10 years ago?
Fingers crossed
How are the paint quality levels?
Panel Gaps and Fibre Quality? Similar to the Low Quality of NS200 or high quality like the N250?
This was a pre production model so we aren’t entirely sure right now
What's that square thingy below the console
USB
Will be patiently waiting for the first ride review, hopefully much more would be covered and explained there.
Absolutely. This is just a first look.
Bajaj has hit the ball.out of the park with this one. Its immense value for money considering the competition. I hope our market realises that 400 CC bike is easily accessible now. No OEM has achieved this price to performance ratio.
Correct. This is being accessible at its finest
Aluminium swing arm would have been cherry on top . But considering the price it’s really amazing 😊
Yes, true
Looks like a parts bin specials. So how does D400 play here i mean for touring u r paying extra i just cant figure it out
The NS was always a streetfighter. This feels like an upgrade
Single bulb projector headlamps are a thumbs down for me. They look elegant when they're dual.
We are sure someone from Bajaj is looking at this
i understand that this bike is built to a cost, but what worries me the most is the family looks of this bike make it look less premium than its other siblings, also it will be interesting to see how this bike performs in top end of the rev range, since its an NS it is expected to do well. Lots of thech and great engine, but the boring looks over shadows the wow factor. But this bike makes a lot of sense for a sober person who gives a shit to what others think. Bajaj nailed the pricing.
First ride coming up very soon
In other videos I saw single piece grab bars but here it's split two piece grab bars ?
What company tyres Bajaj used in NS 400 ?
They're MRFs
People dont realise that its a 400cc bike at an on road price at which many 200cc bikes starts ex showrrom
Good point!
The cameraman was everywhere😂
Apologies man!
An old Dominr 400 engine on an old NS200 with a digital display and some gimmick. Only hard-core Pulsar fans will buy it. At 400cc the Speed 400 or Svartpilen 401 is far better comprehensive motorcycle.
If not then the strong, big and muscular Hero Maverick or X440 is also good one.
If budget is the main concern? Then the faired Hero Karizma XMR is cool or Honda 300F.
🫥 seriously bro?
@@mugiwaraboyaa yes. The engine is not new. It is taken from the D400. I was hoping it is from new Speed 400. Also the NS design is old. It is now as nasty as KTM which is riden by Chapri people.
Right
Z is for the "Zombie" 🧟♂️genre of future Bajaj motorcycles
We hope you have seen the video till the very end
Game over for some 150 cc to 200 cc bikes
Looks like it to you?
Thanks for the video.. ❤️
Any info about RS400 in Q&A session ??
much love! check out our first ride coming soon
Was expecting LC4C engine in NS. Don't get me wrong, current engine is also beautiful
Yes but that would make this far more expensive
Many people said its 40hp & 35nm torq but you said it's 25nm which is correct
?
It is 35Nm
Looks is still disappointing, yes price ia great but when u own it and ride it for a few months passing by other 400cc bikes like a Triumph speed 400, duke 390, husqvarna 401, honda cb350r, Mt03 u feel sad and wish u spend more for that road present... and then passing by a Ns200 N160 F160.. u feel won't feel great because it looks cheap and common...
Sure engine is faster at 40hp, but seriously are u going to ride at top speed every single time..
Even if u ride very fast, people will still turn their heads for MT03, Duke390 and especially husqvarna 401..
No one will notice this Ns400 passing by because it looks the same as all NS and N and F....
Too much attention seeking will kill the joy of riding, don't care about people's opinions if you want a bike only for attention then it's best to go for Aprilia but u won't get that price range
The idea behind this was to get performance at an affordable cost. It does not look special we agree but we are hoping the ride makes up for it.
@@powerdriftofficial to achieve a good ride from big CC bikes is only felt on open roads, twisting and smooth.. not in heavy traffic which apparently is the reality of most of us Indians...
Hence, road presence good exhaust sound matters at low speed and especially after u park the bike.. if u don't turn to glare at ur bike then its not worth it
Imagine this as AS version of this, which was launched years ago. Along with 19inch front & a bit more travel.
oooh!
The background rev 💀
Aai bee dablyuuu
With a visor and some fairing something like the f250 the f400 at this price would be received well
Full fairing please :P
I think most of the disappointment comes when it is compared with other bikes of this segment especially with duke on several things except for the price. Also more people doesnt gets excited on comparatively lesser feature bikes, instead want those with all features with lesser price and tvs is almost doing it. So in another perspective apart from looks its a steal deal
Its built to a cost clearly
I like the stickering colour theme
That's a first
Being opportunity lost by bajaj. Wish they had improved the design as it is exactly same as current NS200 which looks same since 2012 with may be 5% design change.. Revised tank design and tail section would have made more justice to this one... when ns200 was launched in 2012, that time it was revolution in the design keeping the classic pulsar elements in it but this one is really disappointing.. Looks of bike is very important factor for many buyers of this type of motorcycle...
There is a hint of distinction between the NS200 and the NS400Z, as it is a part of a family a major change cannot be expected.
Will Dominor 400 get some love it always deserved, an upgrade this year? What all could we expect to see in an upgraded Dominor 2024?
Yes and yes. Not sure if it happens this year but it will happen
We are very excited about ride review and top speed and performance handling
Coming soon!
All that bajaj had to do was make the the tank a bit bigger and make the tail lamp a bit sportier
Agreed
It should have looked different as its a biggest pulsar from Bajaj...price is good. Karizma xmr is dead
Its an NS family member, it had to have some resemblance.
@@powerdriftofficial agreed 🙂
Desperate but poor launch to compete with mavrick... bajaj be like: design me kya kharcha karna.. dominar ka engine ns250 me dalke launch kar de....😂😂
Respect for hero, tvs and RE...
Anything missing? Or anything that you aren’t too fond of?
@powerdriftofficial well, let me give you a POV as a pulsar 220f owner.. i feel that bike when i ride it... because i know bajaj took time and effort to make it... still, people buy it because it is one of the legendary motorcycle. when you are introducing heavy engine bike its not always about the features... It's about getting a special feel to the bike... any bike above 1.75 lakhs in india, in my opinion, are attached with emotions.... practicality comes at 2nd... what special feelings would you get between ns 250 and ns400z.... i think Mavrick has a better chance to succeed here as hero has really worked their ass off to give better product to their customers.....
That was lazy from Bajaj. Could've gone with a new, better design. Maybe they want to see how it sells. If the numbers are not good enough, they'll come with a new design. I hope
Its actually more to do with efficiency. Part sharing is a big part in all of this
If we remove stickers in it still it looks like ns200 should have done some modifications.... Same old school design 😂
Isnt old school, cool?
It does remind me of the Street Triple from the side. I first didn't like the design as most here but it grew on me
It does?
@@powerdriftofficial the styling does i think

mhmm
They should have added the 400cc engine into the body of pulsar 220cc
You think so?
Dude absolutely. They should have updated the 220 look with new chasis, mono suspension and slightly tweeked headlamp.
I used to own the original NS200 and this looks good as well. Bajaj should use this engine and make a propepr ADV. They have the performance and reliability. Of course, the partnership with ktm means that an adv might be a competitor to the 390 adv but the NS200/400 are sort of competitors to the Duke 200/390.

I think its time Bajaj throw away all those mindset of cheap and unattended looks. Actually a wise decision from Bajaj. Given that dominar was already there and ADV bike from KTM also there , it's a smart move. Design comes from NS family. All good. Just curious about fit and finish and quality levels on the bike. To be top of the line pulsar , we expect superior quality at least.
