Kimmy Starr What? Whether it's Bernie or Clinton, Trump will loose, nobody is worried about Trump. He will be demolished in the general election. "Stop following celebrities" is usually refering to people celebrating dumb people (i.e Kardashian family), I don't see any reason not to give credit to a celibrity who's taking action in politics and doing it as good as Sarandon is. Also if you are really worried about Trump, you would be voting for Sanders as he's getting the independant vote and beats Trump by a larger margin than Clinton in the vast majority of survey. If Kasich was to get the GOP nomination (very unlikely however) he could actually win over Clinton.
Kimmy Starr I would also add that Trump's comment on women did exactly what he was expecting: he got the attention from every media. MSNBC's townhall was all about Clinton and Sander's reaction to Trump's stupid statement, when it really should be about their policy. We all know Trump is racist and misogyne, and we know Clinton and Sanders are against him. What we want to know is who's the democratic canditate with the stronger policies when it comes to women's issue, environement, economy, etc.

Last year I would have voted for Clinton if Bernie didn't win, but in the meantime she has run a really dirty, underhanded campaign (in addition to the establishment support). I cannot support her anymore. If she manages to squeak by Bernie, and squeak by the (R) (probably Trump), she will get nothing good done because a) she is not on the side of the people, and b) she will be fighting investigations and hearings on her improprieties from day 1.

most of those things you listed are done by states. safety is the priority of any country even the communist ones. i'm ok with states having that power, but what i'm not ok with is a centralized goverment having that power. because it's easier for you and i to change local goverment then it would be for us to change a centralized one and that is how our founding fathers set it up. the function of the federal goverment is 3 thing
1. Military
2. protect individual rights
3. promote trade with other countries
and that's it everything else is left to the states.

The nursing and doctor shortages in Germany are mainly due to an increasing drive to privatise the health sector (strong corporations, weak polititians... we could use someone like Bernie Sanders too, you know). Privatizing translates to: Sacrifice service quality in favour of cost savings...
And as I write this, a close relative of mine is quite happy to live in Germany, for he wouldn't have been able to pay for the very expensive medication to treat the Guillain Barre Syndrome, which might have killed him.
So yes, even here health care isn't perfect. But it sure is better than what the USA has right now!

really? because i'm not sure you know what your talking about. if you look at technology the most unregulated industry in the US and yet it out performs every industry we have, also quality goes up and prices come down. anything the government is in prices always goes up.
in medicine we make up 70% of the worlds innovation, it should be 99% but goverment red tape is the hindrance, but yet we still strive in that industry.

I have been keeping track of Senator Sanders civil servant/political record ever since Thom Hartmann gave him a Sunday spot on his show. Bernie is a person of moral strength, integrity, vision, compassion (a strength not a weakness) and the wisdom to know if you want to get an important job done you can't do it alone. He knows how to bring people from all walks of life together that's what a leader does.
Since Bernie threw his glasses in the ring, I have been introduced to millions of fellow American and global citizens with common dreams and concerns. Strong women like Senator Nina Turner and Congresswoman Major Tulsi Gabbard both who gave up hard earned positions, but in all good conscience, could not stay in them. Senator Elizabeth Warren, Sarah Silverman, Amy Goodman, Jane Sanders (our next First Lady) and of course Susan thank you for you compassion, courage and conviction.
