That's what I used, a refuse bag and thats how I got into car too, i recommend this for those who have had spine surgery
Mom has a pad to place on chairs to reduce incontinence accidents staining seats. The backside of the pad is somewhat slippy and works well. I do need to make sure it is angled as it will slide with her bum as she pivots into the car.
