Makes me miss my dad. As a kid, on the weekends he would turn up the stero (then it was cassette tapes) to John Denver. He's been dead for nearly 10 years.. and I still have to jam to some john Denver to bring those memories back! ❤

I was brought to USA when I was just 10 years old. 21 years later living here, this has become where I call home.. yet I am still not considered a citizen here. If I were to ever be deported, this would be the song I told myself I'd play in my protest. I pay all my taxes and take no part in any government benefits; I even applied to serve in the army here to show gratitude, but was denied.. I still Bless this place for what it stands for! God bless us all....
