I must say that while I do enjoy the live stream, I much prefer your narration, Fionn. You are very knowledgeable about the birds, and the video here feels more "personal" with your narration, versus the live stream. You've known Biddy for years, and you know her habits, so, again, while I do enjoy the live stream, I believe I will stick with these narrated videos. :)

It is always interesting to see the different ways the same type of bird builds its nest. Mine was way pickier about the materials that she used, and she used no dry grass straws that long.
Do you ever put any calcium tablets for birds near the bird house or in it to help the female out so she has enough to form eggs? Also I always wondered why they don't just keep the eggs in side of the females then that way they would be warm and incubate for sure and when it's a few days to hatch then lay them, but mother nature knows best and must be a reason like always! I never seen these kinds of birds before and I guess we don't have them over here in the USA. Beautiful birds they are and strange behavior they do with one another. Are they endangered species of tits?
The shape of the box with one side at an angle really gives much extra work to the blue tit. The bottom part should be all made of vertical walks to avoid the moss to go up sliding on the sloppy wall. It takes her double the amount and effort compared to a more normal geometry. Footage quality should come second to bird’s need. That energy wasted here will be greatly needed later.
They are standard nest box's that are widely used to great success by the birds with no disadvantage worth talking about, so worry not, they wouldn't choose it if it was not suitable, infact I have other traditional nestboxs that get ignored over this one.

Biddy is so cute. The rival female has nerve to do the shuffle in Biddys nest 🤔

Ever thought about cleaning out the nest box so a bird may use it again. Kinda early in the nesting season. Could get another brood.
