I'm very happy with the closeness of the shave, but the battery cycle time is criminally short, and I'm not sure if it's a quality control issue in the replacement blades, but the ends of the foil start to shave too close after a short time, as if the wear across the foil is uneven.
So what makes a series 5 different than the series 7? It looks like they should be using the same exact attachments. And if they don't, and the 7 series gets a better shave, than they purposely make the 5 worse.

I bought one of there series 9 full kit with the cleaning station for around 500$. After seeing this ridiculous commercial I will no long be supporting there products. Between the cleaning fluid and the new blade ever year plus bragging about there products to other people I know, I will now be flipping my opinion on this company. I cant support a company I dont trust. Unfortunately I can't say this company has much pride in itself or it's long standing customers with the recent commercial. If you have recently purchased one of there products I recommend returning it and finding a company that will respect you as a customer.
Got one last week, it doesn't shave well, finish really sucks, full of scratch looks like 2nd hand👎. Braun quality is no more there, my last toothbrush spindle also rusted in few weeks
Braun shavers are fine, but their product booklets are GARBAGE! You'd think for $75+ they could include an instruction guide with actual WORDS, not just pictographs. The booklet claims to have instructions in English, French & Spanish but all they are is so-we-don't-get-sued danger warnings ("Don't operate with a damaged cord" etc), almost NOTHING about how to actually operate the device, charge it, use the cleaning station, the attachments, etc. Just picture diagrams with arrows and X's and other non-verbal communications. Fortunately I've found are a few useful TH-cam vids that explain bits of it (though this one, not so much). Whatever happened to WORDS?????
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE, it simply doesnt shave anything. Tried it on every bodypart, on wet, dry and on shaving cream, not a single hair shaved… literally im angry… Braun - it’s 0/10, im very sad, i feel cheated by you.

Maybe show how it really shaves. That guy was already clean shaved. Wanted to see real 2 weel old stubble being removed.

Same here. I bought it 2 days ago (in Media Markt) but this one doesn't CLEAN SHAVE. Other attachements kinda okay but not what I wanted...
