    I got the arc5 and it works just fine and about half the price of Braun. I will keep this Braun one in mind in the future, though.

      I just bought a 9 Pro. I will say that this allows me freedom to shave less if I want. I read from but am curious on how well the arc shaves longer hairs? I shaved my 4 day growth face and head in about 5-6 minutes. Most have said the Arc doesn't work well with past 3 day growth. Truth?

    Just bought one, would have expected some kind of instructions with it with an explanation on how to use it. Just comes with 56 pages of warnings in every language and two pages with ambiguous drawings without text. Should the head be locked or unlocked during use? What kind of soap to clean it, hot water or warm water, should it be turned on while cleaning or off (yes I should push the button, but what does ot mean)? Oil should be applied, what kind (nothing is included and I don’t want to use something that leaves my face with a mirror finish or something that causes irritation or damages the shaver). Should this be done after every use?
    Just regular instructions on how to properly use this thing and care for it would be welcome.

      Maybe Braun doesn't know themselves... or they do, and they're not sharing because they want you to be back to buy another sooner rather than later.

      I bought it and it actually does have instructions. Having visual instructions is not "not having instructions." There is nothing ambiguous about the photos and I was able to follow and understand them perfectly. Photo instructions or diagrams have been around forever. IKEA uses them exclusively. They enable many different people to follow them without having to print instructions in each and every one of their languages. Not everyone can read in 1 of the languages included with instructions, but most seeing people can understand a picture.

    Hi. I own the Braun Series 9 Pro shaver.... is great... is wonderfull... I'm very happy with it. Its a great product but the question is WHY DOESN'T COME WITH THE HEAD GROOMER SAME LIKE SERIES 5-6-7??!! I don't want to carry other hairclipper with me all the time. Will be more than welcome.

    Bought this 9 Pro model, but it feels cheap in comparison to Series 7, which I still like a way more. Not sure if they had any progress in product development. Kinda seriously disappointed.

    I attempted to purchase on of these directly from Braun. They cancelled my order without notifying me! Customer service is terrible!

      YES!! Only after 12 to 18 months of use. It has never been dropped, cleaned after every use and cared for. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will not purchase another Braun shaver ever again. Even though I have favoured Braun for nigh on 30 years.

    I ordered an S9 pro direct from Braun and paid for next day delivery . It was not delivered . All I am told by Braun is that “ they will look into it “ and cannot give me any idea when I will receive a refund
    Terrible customer service . No option to send an email without completing a lengthy form
    I cannot lodge a complaint on the phone as told to complete a form ( which of course doesn’t work )

    I bought the Braun S9 Pro a couple of months ago. Loved the shaving experience. However after each shave it indicated the water drops to clean it in the station. No matter how much I clean it, the water drop only disappears after I use the cleaning station. Exchanged it to a new one because the shop said it must be faulty.
    The new one 1st shave out of the box for the same. And then after the clean I shaved in 2 days. Again the same result. No matter how much I clean it, the indicator only goes away after cleaning in the station. Is this normal?
    I sadly returned the 2nd unit and got the money back. But really loved the shaver. Want to clarify this. So I can buy this again.

      It’s normal! Its just letting you know you need to clean it after every use.

      @@christiansilva6869don’t need either. Dump the cleaning tank and rinse out the hair. Fill with 70% isopropyl alcohol and never dry shave, always use a cream or gel and you never have to worry about lubricating the blades. Also, only charge it when it needs to and the battery will last for many years. Don’t leave it on the charger.

    I got the 9pro one year ago and i am not satisfied. Everytime i have to finish off with a traditional razor because the s9 does not catch every single hair no matter how many passes or directions i try. The only positive is that i dont get any irritated skin, but i have to use shaving foam. Dry shaving does not work. Waste of hard earned money.

    So this shaver is mostly for people who shave less? Is what I get from watching this ad. If you shave every day or every other day, this shaver is not targeted for you. This shaver is specific for the people that wait an entire week to shave, people that go around and allow themselves to look unkept and homeless and once in a blue moon, they want to shave. This is their shaver, to help for them, to make shaving less of a hassle and ease at the shave.

      Also things to note. If keeping a close shave everyday. The 3 series works just fine (I've had this one for 8 years now) but if you go one day without shaving and you like to shave every other day (1 shave every 2 days) the 7 series will be a bit nicer for this because of the closer shave. The 9 shines best if you go 2, 3, or more days without shaving. The benefits of the 7 or 9 also is, they shave faster. You don't have to go over the skin as many times and the shave overall is quicker. Like if I go into my bathroom right now and I want the quickest closest shave, I'm going to choose the 7 series.
      How much is faster and closer shave worth? That's up to each person. There's really no disappointment with the 3 series and it's price. But the 7 series should satisfy for the price as well. And the 9 makes you feel rich because you can show off the beautiful shaver haha.

      I believe so. I just bought one and man it knocked out 4 day growth on face and head in 5-6 minutes. If I had not been watching tV at the same time, maybe 3-4 minutes? I am trying a new routine of shaving Monday and Friday. To start the work week "fresh" and end it "fresh". Then if I get on a big shaving kick of each day, I can do that too. I believe that is why this may be better for many than the Arc, the flexibility

    I bought recently in amazon one of this shavers, let me tell you is really bad product. Does not shave correctly after a couple passes over the same area. This commercial is false advertising, the guy shaving in front of the mirror is already shaved in the path of the shaver, just the position of the camera and the shaver does not allow you to see it

    after using braun series 9 pro I switched to braun series 7. the razor head on braun series 9 pro is way too bulky and the built in trimmer performs poorly.
    After using the braun series 7 for 4 months now, I have noticed the following:
    - Once the battery is fully charged, I cannot use the electric razor for more than two and a half times. I shave every other day in average of 10 to 15 minutes each time. So where is the 60 minutes the manufacturer claims? Please note the facial hair is not extreamly coarse . The reason it takes me 10 to 15 minutes is the many, many passes needed in order to get a decent shave. In other words, the razor head is not so amaizing as advertised.
    - The precision trimmer attachment is almost as bad as the one on the series 9 pro except that ergonomically, it offers a better control and view of the area you are trimming.

      It’s user error. It shouldn’t take more than 2min at the most, and I have super thick hair… the trick is to use a very slick shave gel/cream, and keep the head wet during use. They want you to dry shave because it heats up the blades and causes them to wear out… which makes them money. Also, only charge it when it needs it and the battery will last forever. Don’t leave it on the charger more than a couple hours. Also Make sure you have the head on the right way. If it’s on upside down it won’t shave closely.

      a) From my own experience, a wet head causes the cut hairs to stick to each other.
      b) I never knew there was only a certain direction to insert the head. In my mind, no matter how it is installed, during shaving the direction alternates anyhow.
      c) I never overcharge the device or leave it plugged in for long periods of time.
      The only thing I probably have left to try is a shave gel. If the performance doesn't improve, my only conclusion is that BRAUN sells inferior quality at a high prices.

    Do Not Buy the series 9, I bought 2 and both died on me within 1 year. Apparently, according to the Braun service guys, the motherboard died. They replaced the motherboard, but within a year the motherboard failed again, but since the 2nd failure happened more than a year later, I had to pay for the motherboard. I told them to dispose my shaver.
    Buy the Series 7, more reliable

    old school series 7 is so much better than series 9 pro the Pro gives me irritation, the 7 is smoother and closer, braun needs to bring back the old series 7 Cleaning station on the 7 is 1000 times better then the series 9 pro cleaning station, Braun has gone a step backwards

    I bought one of there series 9 full kit with the cleaning station for around 500$. After seeing this ridiculous commercial I will no long be supporting there products. Between the cleaning fluid and the new blade ever year plus bragging about there products to other people I know, I will now be flipping my opinion on this company. I cant support a company I dont trust. Unfortunately I can't say this company has much pride in itself or it's long standing customers. If you have recently purchased one of there products I recommend returning it and finding a company that will respect you as a customer.

      It don't catch all my hairs on my neck. And apparently the not much difference with pro vs series 9 .Panasonic arch 6 supose shave closer may do better job on neck

      Maybe, but I have read it has those issues too especially more than 2-3 days growth. Maybe I just need to return the 9 Pro, try out the Arc 6 and actually buy the one I like best. @@trojanx7723
