I was in the same boat as you, I didn't think that I would be able to platinum Bloodborne, but I got the 100% + DLC last week. The biggest thing is patience and determination. Whenever a boss was getting the better of me, I just stepped away from the game. I feel like this is one of the aspects of From Software games most commonly omitted.
I platinumed Bloodborne a month or two back. Haven't played the DLC yet but it's my proudest platinum yet. I'm not really a platinum hunter but for the games I really love I try to plat them. On the PS4 I have two other platinums, God of War and FFXV. On the PS3 with a now lost account I had Assassin's Creed 2, Resident Evil 5 and Prince of Persia 08. All of these are pretty easy platinum trophies compared to Bloodborne. Congrats on the Bloodborne trophy BTW
I’m actually quite jealous that you have the whole soulsbourne series in front of you. It’s definitely worth playing in order, as the gameplay evolves with each game, as well as the lore. I’d also say it’d worth playing the first play-through blind (ish), on your first go. Dark Souls, first play-through, has to be the most immersive gaming experience I’ve ever had, so good luck, and enjoy!
@@nick_ar after bloodborne you will have a really easy time in DS1. You have to play the game twice for different endings, so I would recommend you to play the first one as blind as possible and finish everything up in the second run (doesn't have to be NG+ but you keep you equipment so NG+ is quite easier than NG). And the game is really short after you know where to go and what to do.
Yo as a trophy hunter I respect the grind. You just have to go for games that you actually like & it’s ok to stop playing a game when you just don’t like it anymore. New sub!

The reason why you have to fast travel that way in God of War is because the whole game has no loading screen and in that way those things you described are hidden loading animation but implemented in the running game. So when you fast travel and would choose the location there would be a black loading screen but the devs implemented a world in between where you can run around and Mimir (the head) is telling stories and in the background the game is loading the world.
The reason why god of war fast travel is like that might be that the devs made the entire game loading screen-less and also the one-shot camera would be interrupted (btw I just found your channel and I really enjoy your videos)

Congrats on platinuming crash 4. I have the platinum for all crash games but crash 4 was brutal for no reason. I had to stop playing for days so my fingers would stop hurting on the speed trials.

It's difficult to find someone who can thoroughly explain the process of trophy hunting and show their lists, which I appreciate because its nice seeing other people's lists compared to the viewer. You're inspiring to all the trophy hunters and non trophy hunters out there, even for a casual player like me. Also, if it isn't too much to ask, could I friend you on PlayStation?
Since it was brought up, I got to wonder what the cumulative time is like for me. My account is definitely on the older end, since before trophies were even a thing in fact, but I didn't really get into going for trophies/platinums until a couple years latter. Though even aside from age, I primarily play RPGs which usually take a while. 50+ hours, 70+ hours, 100+ hours, 200+ hours, etc. My crowning achievement of longest platinum is roughly 450+ hours by itself. I was thinking of giving that PS4/PS5 time tracker thing a try but it apparently doesn't count PS3 and PSVita games so it'll definitely be way off. I almost want to just ballpark it and say 20,000 hours but I've not sure if that's an underestimate or overestimate or what.
There was only one game that I bothered to platinum, and that was Titanfall 2, the game was an absolute masterpiece, it only took me a few hours to beat the vr course in 30 seconds.

honestly anytime you find yourself playing a game you dont enjoy just for trophies is a red flag. it's all supposed to be for fun so as long as you're having fun i'd say play whatever. also thanks for going through the channel, it helps more than you know
Bloodbourne is super easy if you use glyphs and farm blood echoes. I struggled hardcore without using the glyphs and farming. Trust me man once you get to the Pthumerian Queen (or at least the materials/trials) are gonna be insane to deal with. My character lvl has max strength and max endurance with 50 health and let me tell you it’s not easy or medium it’s hard bro. If you want to play with friends you have to use beckoning bell and have the same password(in game) best of luck to you ! I subscribed today :)

Sekiro is the most unique of all the rest of the FromSoftware (Souls) games. It uses a parry system for combat and I mean..you play as a badass Shinobi samurai...what's not to love? Recommend this one. One thing to note going into Sekiro is that the platinum requires minimum 4 playthroughs to achieve all 4 endings. A guide is necessary to get them, as they're dependent on certain tasks/decisions. Still worth it. Won GOTY in 2019.
Glad that you did not gave up on Bloodborne. Souls games are hard, especially if it is your first Souls game. But after you struggle a lot you will learn and be able to play any of the Souls games. After Bloodborne if you like you could play Dark Souls 3, Sekiro or Elden Ring because they have a more fluid gameplay like Bloodborne.
I’m getting the DLC trophies for spiderman remastered and I don’t really care for DLC trophies unless I own the DLC. I also do it to have more fun with the game and get some more trophies to see that 100%. I go for trophies and I am working on my 12th platinum, but I also focus on having fun which is the main part. Some tedious things in games are so boring and long but even if I go for trophies or not I still try to finish it.
I'm so in love with Hollow knight i don't care that you used the glitch i personally didn't use it an it took me months but its one of my fav plats I've ever gotten.

Yep I agree. I was stuck on defiled amygdala. Attempted the fight about 30-40 times. Then left it and beat it after about 3-5 attempts the next day.
