this addon was officialy made for players with a disability , i use it for some time now because i had a brain stroke and got problems with my dominant left hand. i play wow from 2004 and i didnt want to stop wow after the stroke so thanks to GSE i still can play wow and do whatever i want to do because my lefthand can press a mouse buttom and the rest is for the right hand. only rule is if you use it dont espect to get the highest dps etc it is in the end just a helpfull tool that do a rotation over and over and its not looking for a special situation and how to react on it like a normal player do.
Thank you so much for sharing your story-it’s truly inspiring! 😊 GSE is such a great tool for allowing players to keep enjoying the game despite physical challenges, and it’s amazing to hear how it’s helped you continue your WoW journey after everything you’ve been through. You’ve been playing since 2004, and that dedication is incredible! You’re absolutely right-GSE isn’t about achieving the highest DPS; it’s about making the game accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Stories like yours remind us why tools like this matter. Wishing you all the best in Azeroth, and thank you for being a part of this community!
Wow, GSE sounds like a game-changer for managing macros in WoW! I love the idea of it simplifying macro management while staying within the game's rules. What’s been your favorite use case or class setup with GSE so far? I’m curious how it can optimize gameplay for someone like me who’s still exploring advanced macros. Looking forward to trying this out-thanks for breaking it down so clearly!
LOL I would supply DNA if I could but it just isn't possible yet. BTW look me up in game when you have a moment. I am the only Zenastoy Hunter on all of the servers I play. Take a look.
I am definitely glad you can enjoy more of this game with this addon !! This is also pretty neat for repetitive tasks like delves when want to do 8 delves on your alts while watching a tv show or something. Thanks for showing it off !
I’m so glad you found this helpful! 😊 GSE really is a game-changer for simplifying repetitive tasks like delves-makes multitasking way easier. Watching TV while running level 8 delves? That’s next-level efficiency! Thanks for the kind words and for watching-happy delving! 🏹📺
Thank you for sharing that-it means a lot. 😊 I love hearing how GSE has helped people like you continue to enjoy the game. My mom, who’s now 80, still plays WoW, and tools like this make it easier for so many players to stay connected to something they love. You’re absolutely right-everyone has their own way of playing, and the beauty of WoW is that there’s room for all of us to enjoy it our way. I’m so glad this addon has made a difference for you!
this is considered automation and blizz has dissabled castsequence macros since its considered automation so normally GSE should not be allowed and you should get banned for using automation macro hacking.
I understand your concerns, and I appreciate you bringing this up! GSE isn’t considered automation in Blizzard’s eyes because it doesn’t make decisions for you or play the game automatically-it just sequences commands you would otherwise press manually, within the limits of WoW’s macro system. It’s essentially an advanced version of what WoW’s own macros allow. That said, it’s always a good idea to use any addon responsibly and stay within Blizzard’s guidelines. Thanks for the comment and for looking out for the community!
You bring up an interesting point! There’s definitely a lot of debate around what’s considered fair in WoW, whether it’s using tools like GSE to simplify gameplay or other aspects like paid boosts. At the end of the day, it’s about finding balance and ensuring everyone enjoys the game in their own way while staying within the rules. Appreciate you sharing your perspective-it’s always good to hear different takes on this!
@ well, at least personally I'm indifferent about how other play the game. Doesn't really take anything away from me and my gameplay experience if someone simplifies their rotation or buys a boost.
That’s a great perspective to have-live and let live! 😊 Everyone has their own way of enjoying the game, and it’s awesome that you focus on your own experience without worrying about how others play. At the end of the day, it’s all about having fun in Azeroth. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Great question! GSE can work with proc-based specs like Enhancement Shaman, but it might take a bit of tweaking. You can set up the macro to prioritize abilities that you want to use immediately when a proc occurs, but it’s important to keep some manual control for dynamic situations. GSE is best for simplifying the core rotation while allowing you to handle procs and utility manually for optimal performance. Let me know if you’d like tips on setting it up for a specific spec!
@@ZenasChronicles Oh! Thanks for the offer, I'll just see what you come up with naturally. I really play classic more than retail nowadays and there's only 3 buttons I need to press anyways :D
Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words! 😊 Classic WoW definitely has that old-school charm with its simpler rotations-it’s a whole different vibe compared to retail! I’ll keep working on content that might surprise you, and who knows, maybe something will catch your interest even in Classic. Enjoy your adventures in Azeroth, and thanks again for the support!
didn't you hear at the start of the video ? He said he has some health issues that makes it hard for him to play for a decent period of time. So it allows him to play for a longer time, getting some fights automatically done when it's not important to him. There are many ways to enjoy WoW, this is one of them, it's ok if it's not yours :)
That’s a fair point, and I totally get where you’re coming from! GSE isn’t about taking away the fun or challenge of the game-it’s more about helping players who might struggle with certain aspects, like managing complex rotations, or just want to focus on other parts of the game, like positioning or strategy. For many, it enhances their enjoyment without replacing the core gameplay. Thanks for sharing your perspective.
Good question! Everyone has their own perspective, and it’s always interesting to hear different takes. Comments like yours keep the conversation going and make the community more vibrant-thanks for being part of it! 😊
Exactly! You summed it up perfectly-there’s no one right way to enjoy WoW, and it’s great that tools like GSE allow more people to play in a way that works for them. Everyone’s experience is different, and it’s awesome to see the community being so supportive. Thanks for understanding and sharing this perspective! 😊
learning rotation is a huge and vital part of the game, if you are not up for the task or your hands hurt from using to many keys? then maybe you need to play a different more simple game, no offence bro i hope you dont get banned. love you
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for the kind words at the end-it means a lot! 😊 I totally agree that learning rotations is a big part of the game for many players, and it’s something I encourage where possible. However, tools like GSE can help make the game more accessible for those who might face physical challenges or prefer a simpler approach. At the end of the day, it’s all about finding a way to enjoy the game in a way that works for you. Much love back, and I appreciate the support! ❤️
Not a fan, understandable if you have some form of disability. People should learn the game, that's half the fun. One question, what happens to the sequence if you move? I do notice LLM answers.
Thanks for sharing your perspective, I totally understand where you’re coming from! For many, learning the game is a big part of the fun, and tools like GSE are more about accessibility or making the game enjoyable for those who might struggle with certain aspects, like physical limitations. To answer your question, if you move mid-sequence, GSE doesn’t stop the macro-it just executes the next usable ability when you’re stationary again. It’s designed to work within the limits of WoW’s macro system without breaking any rules. Also, just to clarify, this is actually Zenastoy answering all the comments! 😊 I love engaging with everyone and hearing your thoughts-thanks again for taking the time to share!
@@ZenasChronicles This answer is obviously written by a bot. Perhaps Zenastoy doesn't exist at all. The whole thing could be AI generated. It would fit the theme of rotation automation, I suppose.
Haha, I promise I’m as real as they come! 😊 I’m a 58-year-old Puerto Rican, American born, U.S Army Veteran and regrettably widower who started playing WoW during The Burning Crusade because my mom and late wife were already adventuring together in Azeroth. My mom, now 80 years old, still plays the game and has an incredible 200 characters across a couple of accounts-she’s a true inspiration! You can usually find me playing on Skywall, Drak’thul, Area 52, and Proudmoore servers. Most of my characters start with ‘Zena,’ as a tribute to my late wife, whose character was Zenasgirl. I genuinely enjoy connecting with everyone here and sharing the joy this game has brought to my life. Thank you for your interactions-they mean so much to me and help make this community so special. Cheers! 😊
That’s a valid point! GSE isn’t meant to replace learning rotations but rather to assist players who might struggle with certain aspects of gameplay or have limited time to optimize their performance. It can also be a stepping stone for newer players to get comfortable with their class before diving deeper into manual rotations. Everyone approaches the game differently, and that’s what makes the WoW community so diverse. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
Thanks for your comment! Back in the Wrath days, Blizzard did take action against certain forms of automation, but GSE works within the game’s current rules and doesn’t automate gameplay or make decisions for you. It simply sequences abilities in the order you’ve set, much like what WoW’s own macros can do-just with a bit more flexibility. I totally get the frustration, though, and I appreciate you sharing your perspective!
@@ZenasChronicles Specifically I was thinking about a macro that Bliz said big no to. It was a castrandom macro, that did good dps. I don't mind ppl automating rotation, as I don't rly care about wow, its just unfair against the regular players.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! You’re absolutely right-Blizzard put a stop to the old castrandom macros because they went too far in automating decisions, which created an unfair playing field. GSE operates differently; it doesn’t make decisions or randomly pick abilities. It just follows a set sequence that players manually create and control. I totally get your concern about fairness, though-it’s always important to keep the game fun and balanced for everyone. Appreciate you taking the time to comment!”
