- Todays episode of Z63 is the installation of the TinWorks Fabrication frame stiffener. I am very impressed with the quality and ease of installation of the kit. For more information, or to order one of these awesome kits, go to tinworksfabric.... They manufacture parts for our old trucks, and I am leaning towards their front suspension kit down the road. I hope you enjoy and consider subscribing and liking the video if you want to join the Z63 Journey!

Thanks.
Would this kit work for older Chevy frames
I would contact TinWorks for your specific vehicle. This kit was the best option for my specific needs.
Just needed to sand blast and box the whole frame and paint
How much does that kit weigh?
I am not sure of the weight, but if you givemTin Works a call or shoot the a message, I am certain they will have the weight. Sorry I couldn’t answer better.
I would give you a like and a subscribe if it wasn't for the music can't hardly understand you but that just me
Thanks for the feedback.
why do people ruin what could be a great video with idiotic background music while you're talking... so stupid.
Stupid fancy non engineering. It will not stiffen the frame at all. It would be interesting if a torsion stiffness test was done before and after the addition. I bet it was stiffer before.
I disagree with that assessment. There is nothing between the factory trans crossmember, and the trailing arm crossmember from the factory, and it is quite a long distance, it can twist under load. This kit boxes the frame rails, and adds additional rails in the center. It also allows for the exhaust to be placed inside the frame rails for more ground clearance. Oh, and it looks good doing it.
