Thanks, interesting overview.... my first new car Purchase was a **70 Dodge Coronet 500/Ralley Red/383\4 BBL/Auto/ deluxe Int( NO A/c:: my preference)...Anyways great stuff, MOPAR STUFF, I could not afford the Hemi’s/440s,etc, as got a special Deal at $3100 total( maybe a deal ???)..interestingly I passed on a GREEN RT CHALLENGER SE 4 SPD/ MAGNUM LOADED( incredible power,and big tires with lot of body Roll,over:: afraid of gas Bill & wife driving long Distances)....
I don’t know if you will see this in time. There is a 1964 Thunderbird in Salina KS on Facebook marketplace. They said it was all original except for a 428. You might wanna look.
I remember this car from that article! and not so long ago I recall someone on a web forum talking about it. I wonder if he will restore it to the spirit of 76 paint job or make it another white 70 cuda? .The upholstery looks as though she sat out side for a long time ,which i think was the subject of the conversation on line. Someone asks how this is a barn find, well i would really think of it as being a "workshop potato " (like a couch potato ) They sit in a corner of the shop waiting for the owner to cough up more money to be finished or as in this case,the owner dies often for decades accumulating dirt and odd bits of cars. . I've seen dozens of really desirable cars fitting this description and i have a 190SL mercedes in my own shop which is a pretty expensive spud. .
Thanks for the video, if any of the disgruntled naysayers want to post a video of their barnfind or heck any old desireable car I will watch those as well. I believe it was not dusty enough for the people complaining. The same exact car dusty and dirty before the current owner cleaned it up and these arm chair quarterbacks would have been happy.
