Beautiful curio cabinet you found. I think the first item you asked about (round porcelain) looks like a 'hair receiver' that was popular in the Victorian era through the 30's ?? Women collected their hair from hairbrushes to use for hair art and also fill pincushions, pillows, etc. They are pretty, however, the whole idea kinda creeps me out.

Yep. True. We sell a bunch and hair art at my antique mall...I won't sell either...yuck...

I think it's a hair receiver. I had one in my booth and I called it a potpourri pot for a long time before I realized it was a hair receiver. 😂

Yep. And I think they are kind of gross...so I won't carry them, but we have really been selling them and also selling hair art. Kind of creepy....
