I can't even imagine my dad or grandpa working at such an age. It's scary to know that there are elderlies like him working their whole life without ever truly retiring:(
Thank you to all who helped in making this happen🙏🏾

Veterans all over need help. It makes me so happy to see this man living his last years as a happy man. This is the most amazing video I've ever seen.

I absolutely love everyone who donated. You're all amazing people. I pray such good things for your lives. In a world full of anger, vitriol, and hate,we rarely see things like this anymore.
It's so beautiful, and so are each of you who shared, viewed , liked, and donated the video. Without each of those steps this miracle wouldn't have happened.

The Department of Veteran's Affairs fails Veteran's and is a joke. They make everything impossible to do online and try to make you so frustrated that you won't return. Everything to them isn't service connected. I was a Paratrooper with 4 deployments from 2001-2011. Bad knees and back, VA denied my claims. I wanted to go to the Va and set myself on fire in the waiting room at one point. I'll be working til lunch time on the day of my funeral.

@@ham5483 except thats literally ignoring how thats not how it works. I hate to brake it to you friend but that money wasnt gonna go into universal health care, expanding pubic projects or increasing funding to schools in any scenario. For the Ukraine situation to be relevent, the govern body would had the intention to do anything about it in the first place and taken money out of the planned budget.
Of course, help citizens in ways that matter would have just been shot down by the republicans

"82 years old and grinding everyday" The media is treating this as some heartwarming story of generosity, but this is a dire fucking warning of things to come. So many working class Americans are in no position to save for retirement and in the decades to come there won't be enough go-fund me donations to help all the elderly gen-x and millennials who have aged out of the work force but aew still struggling to make ends meet.

Today : they don’t visit me or call to know how I’m doing.
THANKS GOD I BUILT MY OWN HOUSE AND ITS PAID FOR.
    God bless America 🇺🇸.

  • @mt.shasta9127

Yes it’s heartwarming for this man. But as Americans we have to ask ourselves why so many elderly people need to work at Walmart when they should be retired. It says something about our system. And you know what that is, I don’t need to tell you.

This man retired two times. He is a much better man than me. He initially retired from GM to, GET THIS, help take care of his ex-wife's Husband! Then, when her husband died, he took care of his ex-wife until she died. Google it, if you can't believe it. Then he goes back to work at Walmart.
I don't care what is said about Walmart because, in this case, they did the right thing by allowing him to work

If he’s 82 that means he was born in 1940 or 1941, which means he would’ve been 4 or 5 when WW2 ended in 1945

Why can’t he work with the home for the aged instead since he want to serve?
I lost a job because of an old man! The company chose the old man than a young worker like me! He’s a selfish old man!

Our VA is horrible towards veterans. It makes me furious that he had to work to get by after doing so much for us. It shouldnt have been random strangers giving their money to provide his retirement. It shouldve been our government that he sacrificed so much for. If my grandpa was still working the way he is now, id lose my shit.

Every American that has put in years of workshould ve able to get full retirement at 62 and I mean paid enough to live not scratch by this country is good at taking our money and giving it to foreign countries not our elderly disabled citizens

  • @laman8914
    @laman8914 ปีที่แล้ว

The US media should reverse what they put out in public. Only these good, uplifting news should be presented and not the news where people are killed, robbed, etc. What you feed your mind in terms of information, that's what will come out as behavior. Same thing with food on the physical level; eat good healthy food and your body will express that in health, less disorders and longevity. The mind appeals to the same laws. Imagine if within the GOP or between the GOP and the Dems this behavior of giving we just witnessed, would exist. USA would look totally different.
