My favorite part is not just how respectful the show is of Mirei as a person first and disabled second, by not calling too much attention to it but also giving deliberate care and attention to showing how she lives and plays with it, but the implications it also has that enhances her strengths. Not only does she recognize her own cards by sticker alone, but she's keeping track of the board exclusively through hearing Danji describe his actions. At all times she's memorizing how much damage he has, what he's called and what's been intercepted or retired, and even his hand size. They don't even touch on these but the implication is really helpful in elevating her as one of the most formidable fighters in the anime through its recurring theme of ones imagination being key in someone's strength. Also, it means her opening her eyes is literally an intimidation tactic which is hilarious and terrifying.
A blind Cardfighter. Never thought I'd see the day it's amazing how she has stickers to know which card is which also she had to memorize EACH AND EVERY CARD in her deck effects just goes to show, blind card gamers are to be feared.
I'm surprised so many people are shocked that Mirei uses stickers to identify what card she has. They're also sleeves with Braille that people use to be able to play card games as well. But the option is very colorful and is a nice addition to her personality
Mirei playing the cards by adding stickers to them probably is a bigger statement of how much she probably trained to use her deck. As she most likely would have needed to be told what the effects of each card are, and then try to memorize each of them and associate them with the specific sticker

From making me feel sad with Danji not being able to tell his sister its her big bro after all the kind words/memories she shared, to the amazing fight and the terror on Danji's face with her winning image and the skills being shown once again I'm so happy the series is continuing to get back on the rails of reason. The only thing I wish they would bring back is ride chants for even more hype.
I haven't played Vanguard in a few months and goddamn that OST combined with Bavsargra's splendid fight style really got my adrenaline pumping to 11 to get back into the action!

The stickers aren't how she identifies them. As far as I am aware, even to the partially vision impaired, they'd still be formless blobs. Pretty sure the sleeves have braille.

Mirei is really a capable card fighter when her deck looks very strong in the front. But Danji is really a good brother to Mirei today and he act well like a bodyguard.
Mirei is a cutie with her eyes closed and a beauty with her eyes open and because she gets serius opening her eyes its a reference to Shaka from Saint Seiya Another great animation and with an awesome music, this season is going full to spend all the money XD

This is one of the best card game anime episodes PERIOD. The fight was great seeing merei and danji interact was fun to watch as well as learn more about Danjis past it was wonderful

One had MM on it, which is obviously for Mirae...but the other looked like it said NM on it (the shot of it was a bit blurry due to the light shine on it, but you could make out some fancy curves in the lettering). And given we know the M is for Minei, the name of the family, then that would mean Danji's actual first name should start with a N, which means changing his name completely to Danji Momoyama doesn't make him as obvious to figure out.

Mirei is the best. She's my favorite Over Dress character to date, and that's on top of me falling in love with Bavsargra before even seeing her on screen. It was my starter deck and I still enjoy using it despite it not being meta or anything.
