I love how megumi got to teach that brat a lesson & seeing them all eat ramen and work together to get it free was pre wholesome. The fight was awesome too. Very happy :)

Ha, I like how tohya points out that the cards themselves break the rules like Greedon and Glendios (from original). Also Megumi beating the crap out of Shinobu is so satisfying and relatable especially in Vanguard zero where your opponent sacks so much that by end game they don't get triggers or decked out for getting too much draw triggers. Also Yuyu be like in the preview, "You...CHEATED ON ME!!!!"
I've gotten used to the fights it's aight but yeah i wholeheartedly agree about leaving the show smiling. Something that the past series rarely done for me
This is a pretty good follow-up to last week's episode. Sealed Blaze Maiden/Face Off and Greedon/Gluttony have a nice balance of fun character moments, cardfighting, and unit animations.This is what Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress should have been from the beginning. I've been rewatching the original Vanguard anime in addition to the latest episodes, and it's nice to see the writers and animators revisit the formula that made the original series so incredible. As long as they continue to do this, season 2 of Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress will undoubtedly surpass season 1.
I mean at this point It already blew s1 out of the water lol In s1's defense tho it's an introductory season, so it's meant to have world building, character introduction, seeing them bonding and all stuff so it kinda make sense that they're holding back. But i do agree tho season 2 does feel like classic season 1 of OG Vanguard which is what Bushi is going for for season 2 and beyond and they're doing a fantastic job. I just hoped that if we do inevitably get some supernatural stuff it's not heavy implemented and in your face cuz i REALLY disliked in the past series.
Not much animation in the fights but, it makes up for it by Megumi destroying that kid. Also Tohya has a point on some cards changing the rules a bit like Glendios.
I can't believe this card manage to break the damage limit cap to 7 but still gets destroyed by Megumi in a cardfight. Now Mirei took the date seriously even to a point that she will reunite with Tohya next episode. To the extend Yuyu and friends will also see Danji for the first time in this season.
