- This video is the ultimate compilation of every single sit command that Kagome has ever used on Inuyasha between seasons 1 through 7 and all 4 movies. I will never respond to "what episode was that sit?" requests as this is why: for every single sit, I have placed the episode number at the top, the number of sits for the current season on the bottom left and the total sits overall at the bottom right. After a few viewers commented on my exclusion of the movies (laziness on my part) I decided to add them since I had so much free time. After some digging online, I managed to get my hands on the english dub of the final act and have changed the video accordingly. This is the fourth version of The Ultimate Inuyasha Sit Compilation as it includes the sit commands of seasons 1-6, the now dubbed season 7 (known as the Final Act) and all 4 movies. The song at the end is part of ending 7: "Come" by Namie Amuro

@Elisia_ Girl: About that - The beads can only be removed by the "word sayer" and no matter what, the demon or half-demon target wearing it can't break, cut, or remove it from their neck.
Plus those 3 years were the longest Inuyasha has went without a "sit" command.

I think that's exactly why Kagome was unconsciously careful enough to never say "sit" around Naraku. One glance at that happening and he'd know the secret almost immediately.

It wouldn't have worked for very long, Kagome has shown several times that she is heavily resistant towards manipulation, The Dark Priestess tries the manipulation tactic and fails, the Infant Tries and fails anyone who's ever tried to manipulate Kagome against Inuyasha has resulted in utter failure. Even the Shikon Jewel itself tries and fails.

I agree with what some in the comments have already stated: while the whole sit thing was definitely hilarious at times, Kagome blew it way out of proportion. Yes, sometimes InuYasha deserved it, but I do believe she took it way too far on multiple occasions.
it does not help a lot of them where not even in the manga like they changed a lot of the ending of chapter 76 just for another sit thing chapter 76 the ending had a lot of important stuff that was cut chaptor 76 is episode 23 in the anime sunrise did kikyou and kagome dirty kikyou was a lot more evil in the anime and kagome also got captured a lot more sunrise is the company that made the inuyasha anime i hope we get a remake thats a lot more like the manga
@@anastasiawinters4455 kikyo was more cunning in the anime not evil. It compliments her traits in the manga when you take them together. The sit commands didn’t add or take away anything from the story itself or kagomes character. When you think about it she really didn’t use it all that much or at times wgen she could have been at her most petty. It was solely for comedic effect and it was funny. And it was to temper the more ridiculous traits the screen writers chose to portray of inuyasha. Because he’s not SO obnoxious in the manga.
It's played for gags, but let's be real, a lot of this was straight up abuse.

Like yeah, there were a few times early on when the beads served their intended purpose to protect Kagome from an InuYasha whose loyalties were still questionable, but after like the first 12 episodes when InuYasha started to care for Kagome and eventually fall in love with her, there was zero reason for her to not take the beads off him except to abuse and control him at her leisure, and that is not a healthy relationship dynamic at all.
Maybe I'm looking too far into this lol, but if I'm Kagome I'm taking those beads off him after he's saved my life a couple times and proved he wouldn't ever harm me.

Tbf Inuyasha being so obnoxious doesn't help things at all. Sometimes he does something REALLY stupid, in which case Kagome just completely unloads on him.
In Season 1, for example, he tried to smash the Bone-Eater's Well with a boulder to prevent Kagome from going home. That was his first major mistake, and it was met with 8 consecutive "sits". Since then, he has only tried to seal the well once, and it was mainly for her protection after Sesshomaru came back for Round 2 against Inuyasha.
Movie 1 and Episode 98 both highlight another major mistake Inuyasha has a bad habit of making: not giving Kagome's home cooking the respect it deserves. Given how much effort she puts into making those meals, having the man she loves insult her cooking is bordering on unforgivable, and those two events were met with a total of 15 "sits" across both events -- 9 in Movie 1, and 6 more in Episode 98.
But that's not the worst of it. Not even close. Kagome absolutely HATES having to pick word fights with Inuyasha for the stupidest of reasons, and her anger and frustration at having to do that every so often slowly built up over 4+ seasons. And in Episode 109, it all comes pouring out like water through a broken dam -- by way of a whopping 16 "sits" in a row!

Some of the worst instances were when he was simply boasting about his newfound skills and she told him to sit, when Sango drunk and tried to kiss him (which was literally not his fault) and she spammed it dozens of times, and practically every time that she did it whenever him and Koga butted heads when Koga was clearly provoking him. It was stupid and he had every reason to be angry afterwards. Sometimes it was acceptable, but most of the time it was bs. Even worse is that the others constantly sympathized with her even whenever she was clearly abusing her power. Imagine if he hit her or physically harmed her in some way every time he got upset over something that she said or did. People would’ve lost their minds.

While I can see the comedic aspects of this as an anime, it’s also sort of disturbing. SIT came about as a way to protect Kagome from the angry, violent InuYasha, but Kagome REALLY abused her power over him in following episodes; even after they became close, she still kept what was essentially a slave collar on him.
Yeah it sucked.
She uses it far less over time, and several times, it's because he's doing something ignorant, like beating on shippo, attacking things in the human world, or stretching out jaken. She still has several extremely unnecessary ones, (like 81-98), and several are sheer jealousy (Like 110-112), but it does balance out.
I would also like to point out that the abuse was two-sided. Kagome really hit home the sit command, but InuYasha was scathing with his words, at times physically rough with her, and honestly the relationship just balances out. They were both abusive and I'm not sure how a healthy relationship could exist between them.
@AnimeGamer X It's been a long time since I've really watched or read InuYasha, but off the top of my head, I would have to say that she got shoved multiple times and was cut up more than once as well. Perhaps someone could make the case of InuYasha wasn't in his right mind, but I don't share that sentiment. It happened too often. But that's just my opinion. You're allowed to have yours.
