Mendo, Humbo, Del Norte, Trinity, Siskiyou, Klamath, those are counties that might as well be another country.

Boy, do I have some backroads for you. They make the Mattole Road look like a freeway!

Highway One was not built around it: it was terminated at the Lost Coast!

2:45 "Trespassers will be shot on site" well its a spelling error, but it still works. Its like, "Here in Humboldt County, we shoot trespassers on site, locally, the old fashioned way"

It’s a long twisty road, with some potholes, but also some pretty views, but the ruggedness is exaggerated. You can make the drive in a car and you won’t need to replace your suspension afterwards,

I did it with my honda civic after finishing the lost coast trail and my car is just fine

I did it with my civic too. Although the weather was bad (as usual) and the potholes made me too weary to actually enjoy the drive

I'm sure you know there's a much better road into the Lost Coast, specifically to Shelter Cove.

@@TomBTerrific The homeless racket is one of the most profitable, act like you care, show how bad it is, keep asking for more billions of dollars, do more studies and if someone dares to come up with a solution stand between them with the billions of dollars and say We stand with the homeless and give them another bottle of water.
