Krizbeatz please can you address the issue of noise in vocals... I've recorded artist using multiple types of soundcards and mic... And there's always background noise... It's usually not loud but when the start to match your vocal with your beat(loudness) the noise also increases... My question is how do I get rid of the noise without taking out any characteristic of the vocal...
You need to confirm if your noise is from your cable but if not the other thing that can be the issue is the soundcard you’re using. That is the SoundCard preamp it self maybe you need to buy a preamp for your soundcard
This question may never get any but , did you add the saturation in parallel ? Like on its own buss then blend together? I don’t use logic so I can’t emulate your layout

If you have a pretty clean vocal then you start with an eq, other wise start with a compressor to control the peaks so you will have a clean flat signal going into the eq
