I will say those Ford Trucks were tougher built trucks than the chevys ..... k10 chevys would crack frames in literally multiple areas of the frame

Start out by saying this is a beautiful collection.
Not trying to be a jerk, but you know what’s going to happen.
Old skidder wants top dollar for everything he has.
“It looks rough but it’s in great shape” when it’s just rotting into the ground.
Everything will just sit until the next generation takes it over. And they will just sell stuff for cheap or send it to scrap.
It’s unfortunate.

Those super camper specials were different from any of the other f series trucks. They had a heavier frame. They are somthin special for sure!

Can someone please send me a pic of the fire wall…I have a ground strap just hanging above the heater motor but the heater motor looks grounded already 🤷🏼♂️ what’s it for

Hello, I was looking at the video and saw the truck at 25:00 the f350 camper special, one with the 140" wheel base. If i could, how much does he what for the truck? I am interested!
I bought a 1979 350 custom dump bed 460 runs great headers recently added been hauling out of quarry for friends about 4 to five ton no problem

I'm 57 and grew up in Snohomish. I've known the hobo, homeless guy who lived in a trailer that he talked about since high school. He's actually a really a nice guy who has struggled with drugs his entire life. Total car car guy. He has a 73 bronco that he's owned for 30+ years. I heard he had to move off that property but no idea where he ended up.

Damn I wish I still had my 78 F250 4x4. I let my wife and mom take it to the store and someone stole it from the parking lot. Cops never found it. Been 20 years now.☹
I have a 75 ford f100 dentside with 54k original miles owned it for 45 yrs.
I have a friend with 33 of these trucks. I think he may have started selling though.

I'm from N.E, Penna. very impressed with Brian's collection. I have owned 20 Ford trucks 13 were 1979 or older .I am 69 years old and plan on at least one more either a 76 High Boy or a 79 f350 4x4 both with stick. The 79 with either a 400 or 460 as several owners have installed 460s.Looking forward to more videos thanks Brian
I had a f150 4x4 360fe it had the really rare 4 speed overdrive it was so much better then the bow low 4 speeds it was a 75 I think the transmission was only available for too years I think & also had a 72 & a 71 f250s 4x4 s & had 77 & a 79 150s 4x4 & had 5 2wds I used them for parts 4 of those ran when got them I bought them all basically for scrap prices I bought 1 of the 2wds for 1000 it had a motor with about 450 hp & solid body EVERY BUMP SIDE & DENT SIDE NEEDS A DIESEL 7.3 power stroke or a idi
Very few gas engines get a 100k these days. Nothing has changed really
i think most gas engines get 300k minimum

@@FordEra Yeah, summer weather is usually pretty good here. I'm guessing this was filmed last week, right? This week, weather's been quite wet. Next time you're out here, see if Brian will take you over Stevens Pass along US 2. There's a great area to get photos of cars and trucks, along the Wenatchee River. It's known as the Tumwater Canyon area, just west of Leavenworth.
I enjoyed all of it but specifically the crew cabs.
