Ben needs to respect his viewers. In this video he hasn't shaved, he's barefooted, and he sounds like he's so tired. He is really being fass and manish. I like the clean cut looking and the peppy voice sounding Ben.
Have a 20 LS500 F Sport! Absolutely love, love, love it! For all the reasons you stated. Long, lean and lethal! Had an LS460 previously, which was missing the tight, stellar handling, and aircraft quality cockpit, and acceleration that the F Sport brings to the LS500. Ole!
The fancy stitching you referenced on the back door is to cover where the side window shade would have been if this LS had been one of the higher specification models.
Call me stupid but I like the way you review cars because it's like having a conversation with my friend. Other car reviewers are so professional with their script it's like going to a seminar with a crazy educated professor and you too scared to ask a question. I like that way you do this. I really do. LS500 vs the S Class. I'd buy the Lex and with the 30k difference I'd buy the GR86 as a weekend car. But that's just my 2 cent worth of an option.
Every time i get this as a loaner having dropped off my LC i find myself saying WHY did Lexus not put the V35A-FTS in the LC and call it a LC400. I ADORE my 2UR-GSE but hot damn that engine in the LC would be lighter and faster. Add to that you can chip it. 😩 I think there was a classic just left off the table there. Back to the LS i love driving it. Its quiet, fast, and looks good in and out. Its also cheap compared to its competitors. No one tests it w/ the RWS which i would absolutely add. It makes a huge diff in the LC. Id imagine it would in the LS.
5:57 Im pissed off they put this ugly screen in the 24+ LC500 dropping the clock completely. 🤬😤 I prefer the track pad over the touch screen because it doesn't get dirty and i always hit my mark on the pad compared to the touch screen where my finger bounces around while I'm driving forcing me to hold the screen edge like a FKNG monkey! My pad has haptic feedback so i don't need to look at the screen to know where i need to go for what. Its retarded and none of you guys comment on that. You just toss it out the window as outdated. Meanwhile i see ALL of you doing the same thing i just complained about. But for some odd reason you all love it. Im baffled.
Lexus makes amazing vehicles love the brand there is a 16 ES300H at the dealership I work at been loving it I would get out of our 19 GMC terrain denali if possible love the Lexus
5:30 I love this cluster. But it wouldn't kill Lexus to put a new bezzel and a NEW SCREEN up there. The mechanical can stay just replace the screen and bezzel and you get an updated look. Is it costing billions? NO! It would make such a diff , and a in expensive upgrade to an already good looking cluster. Fools.
Needs a V8, not very impressive for $90K? Reliability will suffer with the V6 twin-turbo, just has too much turbo lag, compared to the older one, which did have a 5.0 L V8, if I'm not mistaken? Basically a poor man's S500, just seems like a stretched over-priced Camry to me? Rather have a German luxury vehicle, which should be easy at that price?
I absolutely enjoyed the juxtaposition of you reviewing a luxury sedan barefoot. 😂 It was a sexy review of sorts…anyway, I’m sure this will be my retirement car if Lexus still has it available in 10yrs it so.
Lexus is desperate now. 88K seems like a bargain compared to the G90 and the Germans, but this car is missing a lot features at this price, so NO it isn't a value. The original LS400 was a value, this LS500 is just cheaper. Cheaper doesn't mean value or bargain, you're paying less and getting less. If you don't want to go German, get a G90. The LS500 isn't anywhere near being "all new" either. It's the same car from 2018. Clearly you're struggling to come up with a reason to buy this car in the review. The LS500 hasn't had typical Lexus reliability either. This is no reason to buy this car over the competition now, even Ben is making it up as he goes along. The G90 is better and the S and 7-Series are way better cars. How can you get the value of the G90 when it doesn't have the features. Again, you're paying less and getting less.
That whole rant just to say the same thing thrice. Nobody buys this class of car anymore anyway. This thing could be $40,000 and people will still choose a dorky SUV over it.

Some people are asking about a V8. Lexus seems to go in the opposite direction, the RX no longer has even a V6, only 4 cylinder engines.
Really like the interior of this Lexus! Great review! Loving the feet! Very nice! 👍🏼
I became a lexus fan.
If they make a good affordable electric sedan in a few years or some LC500 spin off I'd buy it 😍

I like Lexus products!! I must buy one Ben.
Lexus basecap or shirt 😂😉
Damn these automobiles are costing too damn much. I can't even afford to look at them these days.

Shouldn’t the V6 get better MPG’s than the LS 460 8 CYL? 17 in the city in real life is like 14 which is horrible.
No V8, no 6 speed stick, no sale. 90K of F, for minimal Sport.
9:29 Probably because it's a trim level for us like Sport options 😂
Jesus Christ is coming back very soon ❤
Heard that for years
It’s very true‼️🙏🏾
I would love to see a review of the Lexus RC F.
thats discontinue ?
No. Still on sale.
Bummed they removed the CD player for that high end audio system. I get it, but still
Cheap piano black on the console? Would figure 90K vehicle would have better console.

But the Germans too don't have a V8 on their new models, what's your point?
Nope, the last LS V8 was the LS460 with a 4.6L V8.
@@enabulujames7066 What in the world are you talking about? Totally clueless. The S580, 760i and S8 are all V8s.
@@MercOne the LS 600h had a 5.0 v8
@@mavrek7 Oh yeah the showroom furniture version of the LS. Forgot that one.

I started thinking about what I need to do at work tomorrow after I heard 88k……..😑
Far superior than *any of it's European counterparts.
9:30 I guess Mercedes ain’t supposed to have a sporty car either, huh.
It weighs 5200 lbs and has a V6 for $90K? Not the best deal.
$88k 🙄. #footfetishalert
It’s giving old man
Would you rather have a little Scion so you can look young and broke?
$88,000 and no V8???😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👎
I prefer buy a Benz or bmw

@@CACressida Nah there are still buyers in this class. The SUV ting is just an excuse for a lackluster car like the LS.
Get an ES, twin turbo it and save over $30,000.
