Lovely Things in Ugly Places / MATTIE MONTGOMERY

Mattie has served as the lead singer of the metal band For Today for nearly a decade. He had been in the metal scene for a few years with other bands, but after accepting Christ, he needed to be around other Christians and he felt called to help reach kids who where like him. So many in the metal scene have given up on faith, they doubt the existence of a loving God.
Mattie and For Today have been focused on being a light in very dark places, being overtly open about their faith while staying away from the Christian market. Now, For Today is gearing up for their farewell tour, and Mattie is making the final edits on memoir called “Lovely Things In Ugly Places” that releases October 10th, 2016.
