I always thought as a platoon when we had to set these up and go through that it was a wasted of time. The pvts and SPC's dont care. The only people need really is the SSG's( squad leaders, tank commanders), the LT gunner and platoon sergeant gunner, or whatever the equivalence is in the non tanker world. Unless you spent hours with the Co, Xo, 1SG in the conference room beforehand, it wont make sense to you doing it while out in the field.

We'd always go to the major brief, and then do like 2 more briefs for the like platoon/squad level. Our CO usually prefaced with "I know the junior enlisted don't benefit this as much, but we want you to at least be exposed to the whole thing, so you understand there is a bigger picture to your role here."
