Very good info. I have a doubt:
Which one goes on first, at night, Discoloration Defense or Retexturing activator?
Edit: i have big dark melasma on both my cheeks, from pregnancy. I've been doing everything my dermatologist advised me to do, from hidroquinone to other stuff, even peelings and lasers. It just got worse. And after 5 years of constant care, I'm done with dermatologists.
I stoped everything for 1 month. Just water, sunscreen (day) and Avéne Tolerance (night). Honestly, it almost looks better... well... at least not worst! But now my skin also has texture :(
This week I bought: Phloretin CF (morning; + anti-ageing Resveratrol serum from another brand + sunscreen), Discoloration Defense + Retexturing Activator (night; + 0,1 Retinol with peptides and ceramides cream from another brand).
Should I go for the blemish age defense to exfoliate? Where would it fit on the skin regimen? I have combination skin.

Melasma can sometimes be difficult to address, as it is generally caused by an increase in hormones or can occur as a result of sun exposure or other fluctuations in hormone levels. Products like the SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense will help address this concern by utilizing a combination of tranexamic acid, kojic acid, niacinamide and HEPES to address different levels of discoloration.
When applying these products, we can confirm that you would want to apply the Discoloration Defense after your Retinol, then the Retexturizing Activator, followed by your moisturizer. Based upon all of the products you have listed, you may not necessarily need the Blemish + Age Defense as you are experiencing exfoliation through the retinol, Discoloration Defense and Retexturizing Activator.
