To be honest, one of the things that I loved so much about the Dancing Lion boss fight, is that during its second phase, it would swap to a different element, while starting out with electricity, it would then shift to wind, then to ice. All in time with the music, it was a wonderful introduction to the dlc but more importantly, super unique when it comes to Elden Ring bosses. I can only imagine it possessing an ability that might cause the weather to change every certain amount of turns, boosting certain attack types in the process. Like thunderstorm to something that boosts flying type attacks, to hail and then back to thunderstorm every 2 or 3 turns.
If you ask me I feel like the divine beast dancing lion would have either a move or a item it holds that can change the type mid fight or change it’s type similar to how Ogrepon (forgive me if I misspelled I finished Violet months ago) works. Though I feel like normal type would be a part of this version if it were to be utilised.
You know divine beast is interesting and cool boss. Personally i asociate it most with ice because this phase is in my opinion most memorable. I also find it hilarious that this boss is just 2 dudes in a costume that for example Zullie the witch showed without a costume
Honestly, when i think of turning the Dancing Lion into a Pokemon...Falinks comes to my Mind. Think about it. Its already a Pokemon made of mutiple Bodys. So a Regional Variant of Falinks, wraped in the Clothes of the Dancing lion would be awsome. Maby with an Evolution or somtehing. Typewise i could see a Electric/ Fighting Type, based on the most prominent Phase of the Dancing Lion.

@@renewalacumen1770 I think each of the people in the boss are using their different moves/elements (just had my NG+ rematch today), so maybe a signature move that alters the type of the Shifu & the move itself whenever used?
I Kinda Have Idea for Next BOSS as Pokemon. Ulcerated Tree Spirit, Avatar (Lots of Avatars in the game. Lots in the base game and 1 in the DLC). Also The ONE I'm Concentrating the thing... Metyr Mother of All Fingers. Creature of the Stars (From Space). Secret Hidden. Like Known by Very Few. Also Kids. All Finger Creepers, and the 2 Fingers. The Finger Creepers are Weak against Piercing Damage, and Fire. IF you want you can Check The History on that Fella... People Talked on that BOSS.
i think a convergent mimikyu could be funny here joke aside, pretty tough 1 to think of a type for but i have an idea, perhaps normal, and its ability changes it;s type based on the weather part electric for rain and part ice for hail that or its signiture move could set up the weather, a lot of this bosses attacks seem weather based so i feel like it is an angle to lean into
I do like the idea that this thing wears what is effectively a bag over its head. Kinda surprised it isn't Electric Ice, since It has an Ice phase I'm the game too.
@@Frozenkoldfury it was a toss up because of its ability to switch elements. I almost did an Arceus style thing where it could be a different type based on item but went with electric to simplify after looking at its attack list
@@witherlordmaster198 yeah but I wanted to give it less weaknesses and really feel like a force. I think of it like galarian ponyta where it should be fairy given the lore but they wanted it to be strong to poison so made it psychic

And it can change the electric typing between ice and flying as well! Maybe through some item like plates, hidden ability, or variants.

Typing i would give it ghost/normal type with the ability forecast so its normal typing can change. Like saying his dance can change the weather.

Those are Chinese Lion dances not Dragon dances
