That seems to be the problem with the 100 mile yard sales. Everyone is a retailer without retail expenses. Very few want to bargain and all want too much.
Fun fact, I found a box for Super Mario World complete with the inserts at a local store a few years back. It was one of my favorite games so I bought it for $10. Didn’t realize until later that with my game it was worth almost $500. As much as I loved the game, I had to let it go once someone offered me that much for it. One of the best surprises of my life
I know its the business but i find it hard watching you beat average people dowm on prices. Especially when the sticker price already leaves you with a good margin.
The challenge seems to be from mainly connections due to being a huge online presence. Not so much from garage sales or thrift stores. No way a normal person can do this challenge
Every video i watch on these huge 'Highway Whatever ' or 'World's Largest Garage Sale' events makes me sure i never want to attend one personally. Just looks like a giant, overpriced flea market.
They were probably better before more people got into collecting/reselling. I went to a flea market in Ohio and got a copy of Hagane for $5 (though at the time it was only $30 on eBay before Hudson went out of business)
that is without doubt the cleanest collection of boxed nes games i have ever seen. could grade at least 50% of that lot at 9-9.5 spearmint bubblegum mint what a guy
I've really been enjoying this series. It would be super fun for you guys to do a 'giveaway' to bring a fan in for a barn tour and a day in the life of garage sales.

you guy blow my mind with how much you know about everything you purchase. But its because you all were into these thing while i was into coins and paper money. You would really like getting into hobo coins. the subject matter is diverse and while you dont see alot on line that are old they are out there and you can score pretty big for not alot of cash.
The TV guy has been watching a little longer than i have 😊 i have been loving the content and have even started back at season 1 after watching Hobby Shop Ron, the rental store buy out, and the $5000 challenge.
I'm not exactly sure whats the problem with using connections for the challenge. So many people are complaining when that was established from the beginning. I'm just entertained by all the finds. This is a great series hope to see more episodes soon!
I think people wants it to be relatable to "an average guy" or "begginner reseller" but as much as you try you can't undo connexions and you can't undo experience... I'd rather they use it than being hyprocrites in trying to avoid it but it's shows they can't
@@Psychopat002They did the same challenge last year on the second channel but starting entirely from scratch, which is what people who are complaining seemingly want to see
you built the issues you are seeing. You told everyone to ask everywhere. That is what they are doing. It kills the market for us older sellers. It makes inventory harder to find
%60 is absolutely paying up. Most places will be locked at 30-40%. It’s the main reason I started selling on eBay because I wasn’t making any money trying to sell my collections at stores for 30-40%.
@gilbertoarellano8525 nahhh not if you got a big collection especially now since inventory is really hard to find now people better pay at least 75% especially now since everyone thinks they have gold
When you're reselling it definitely is. After you factor in fees (15-20% since they hit you with fees on shipping and taxes), they'll get a fraction of what they paid. When I buy stuff at sales I want to at minimum purchase for 1/3 the solds (obviously something like this is a special case).
With the wallet above half way to your 50k goal. You should have banked 15k. Your goal to reaching the subscriber goal is to close to risk that sweet amount of cash
I would need to do more research, but according to Wikipedia, there are 1,028 Sega Saturn games, not including compilations or non-game software. Of those, 785 are exclusive to Japan, which is 75% of the total. I also would speculate that the game was either not well received upon release, is a region 0 game, or was not printed in large quantities
the pokemon sticker guy was being unreasonable, you shoulda just walked away. guarantee if you just turned around he woulda done 40 which was more than he shoulda got.

You have to go to neighborhoods to find stuff for very cheap stay away from parking lot vendors

I’d like to see the difference in deals you’d get if the camera was hidden. Production equipment is probably limiting the deals

me when i shit my pants full of doo doo
Because that's really what it is. It's them trying to be entertaining and using TH-cam as another revenue source along with their business.
I think it’s why they say “we challenged our business” instead of “you can turn $10 into 50k by doing what we do.”
Yeah they've acknowledged that this is THEIR challenge, not a "we're trying this challenge, and you can too!"
I mean its ep 17 and you still don't understand that the challange this year is not the same like last year

One of those collections that a single like doesn't do justice to. Immense.
"I'm gonna have to get this autographed!" hahaha poor Brother Dave ;_;

Those sealed snes should be sold on heritage auctions for many thousands
Dale Elefonte strikes again!!!
The 127 sales were no bueno in the area i was located Van Wert. The highway 12 sales the following week were amazing in your neck of the woods!
Van wert is hit or miss, just have to stay away from the vendor places
How do we contact you for a purchase?
I have a see though game boy advanced with the matching joy tech attachment. Does anybody know the value of the attachment? I can’t find it anywhere.
When sky guy showed the worst looking sega game had me dying😂😂😂
Amazing collection by far. What day will these items be going up on whatnot? :)
So stoked to be apart of this journey with you guys 🔥
What app does he use to track the price?
insane collection I wish i still had my Shining Force 3
I sing your intro song at my wife throughout the day, please help. Lol.
😂 That’s awesome!
What you should do is keep the tune and change the wording to compliment your wife. Best of both worlds!!
Keep having fun. Stay safe.
Sky, Pepe Silvia was definitely behind the ploy, trust your instincts.
I found Radiant Dawn at a Goodwill. Pretty much the only good video game find at a goodwill since they started shopgoodwill.
I cannot believe this stuff goes for auction and then the video comes out
You guys buy collections?
was that in lucasville oh?
When is the whatnot on the snes games?
7:39 I still don't know if you guys were kidding here or if he really thought Dale was still alive lol
Let me just put it this way, before this series began. I didn’t know Dale ever existed.
Now I’m a fan for life!
I can’t wait for the auction on these
I have a bunch of the old Pokémon action figures are they worth money?

Shout out to Robert for the Ocarina of Time. Frontal piece on my mantle.
I desperately need that copy of Final Fantasy III
Congrats on getting on TV
I'd have dumped all of the garage sale footage and just had a more in depth look at the collection.
Can y’all do a video on finding collections and what keywords to search for ?
Have those stickers been sold already?
I swore I saw this collection already and... I did just not on the garage sale challenge 😅
HOLY HOT DAMN BATMAN!!!!! Now that's a GRAIL!!!!!!!!
Less than 3k to the lions 😮
3k away from lions...seems a bit too close for comfort haha
Lol all the marijuana pupes and bowls at the beginning

Dang. I had a chance to buy that ninja trilogy for 5 dollars. I thought it was a fake so didn't buy it.

its not possible to turn 10 to 50k in 5 months on yard sales alone
Yeah, agree. If they didn't have people selling them multi-thousand dollar collections, they'd still be flipping a few hundred bucks a week.
why didnt the rescuers wear gas masks in the 1st story?
This challenge is a unrealistic pipedream. I could source but I can't get to the sources and no one ships, donate a car to your boy
Lowballed the fuck out of that old man and his stickers
I am sorry to ask, but when you say "One dollar no holler" do you know what that is from? The actual quote is "Five dollar no Holler".
