I usually don't do this very often. I just needed to do some batch compression and resizing of my photos for a web project. I remembered using Irfan View for this purpose the last time, but I had to refresh my knowledge of how this is done. Great presentation of most of the important features. Thanks a lot!

Is irfanview a safe/legit program without any viruses or malware? Does anyone know for sure pleasee? As I haven't heard much about this program it doesn't seem very popular, but looks nice from these videos so i'd like to give it a shot but first I need to know if it really is safe.
