I was really impressed by the attitude of Mr Matt Poischbeg. Especially his interest in working in new materials. For these reasons I will contact this company and have them consider making the tool and doing the injection molding of my new product, which is designed to reduce the amount of single use plastic. People who say " be plastic free", really have no idea what they are asking. Plastic is our friend, but, because at present it is cheaper to make new plastic, than it is to collect and recycle old plastic, it is considered an enemy, but times are changing. They are working on different kinds of recyclable and biodegradable plastics today, that will be in use 100 years from now, in the same way as we are using plastic invented nearly 100 years ago. If it had not been for plastic, I doubt there would be tree left standing on this planet. Just to mention one product, think that nearly every recreational boat would have been made of wood, and large boats would be made of some type of metal. Of course there would not be so many boats, as they would not be affordable for the average consumer. The plastic waste is a human failure and finally governments are in the process of eliminating single use plastic and taxing non-recyclable plastic. If we can deplete the the number of fish in the sea, we can surely clean up the garbage in the sea. Every drink sold in a paper cup by Mc Donalds comes with a plastic lid, even if you are having the drink in-house. It is used to carry the drink to the table, then it is generally removed. In total, worldwide, it is estimated that there are 80 to a 100 billion plastic lids discarded very year. Something has to change and it will !

Why are you committed to 5S when everything was cluttered. Also spotted many waste processes on the tour. Safety shoes was also missing on several operators. And yes, I’m on the moldings business with LEAN activity’s. Cheers!
