Using IJV 3.14 firmware with DSB

This is great. I've been looking at doing it since I saw that you could do ssb with the K6!
Would like to add that a ferrite choke on your usb cable will block rf interference from an antenna mounted on the radio.
You Will have all types of problem tryna do digital without that .
Maybe a ground tiger tail would help if you ain’t got any ferrites around.
I could see that as being something that could happen. I had no issue with my setup
Awesome ! Thanks !
Have you replaced your EEPROM with 24M01 chip and is this replacement only beneficial for increasing the memory channels to 999?
I have not. Didn’t really have a need
Nice work Troy… You are paving the way for many of us to follow in these various modes on the K5.
When you are using IJV, for ft8 and or ssb, do you also use that firmware for CW, or do you switch back to a different radio with CEC on it? Basically, I don’t think IJV has an internal keyer, does it?
Thanks, I have stayed with IJV so far. I like it the best. Down fall is it does not have the Built in keyer. I have been using a external one.
I have been using this one.
Yet Another CW Keyer! & a CW trainer feature!

Okay, makes sense… I have an external little keyer/paddle also… Based on the ssb audio test you did, eventually I might migrate to IJV also. Well done on your various tests. First Ever SOTA with Quansheng and maybe a record on the distance with Quansheng FT8
I have a Uvk5 and already had the AIOC board. I made myself a 2m dipole for it. Do you have a lot of 2m ft8 traffic where you are? I have yet to hear anything yet.
Not a lot. But there is a net every Thursday night. I have only worked two so far but both were 80 to 100 miles. Both with amp attached. I have a 8 element beam i getting going to help make more.
Awesome
Is this FT8 on 2meter?
Yes
What driver did you use for windows for the AIOC
I didn’t install any windows 10 automatically recognize it.
@@QRPMonkey I thought it may of done that but mine didn't install any, I'll keep looking
