Been looking for more transitions from well defended front headlocks! Usually, after grabbing their tricep with the chinstrap hand, I'll go to a spiral ride to try to take their back. Would you suggest this as a better option if my opponent is much stronger than me? I tend to have trouble keeping the defending arm across the center line to keep them secure until I have hip control. Thanks for the high level content!
You have 2 options, either elbow to elbow or gable grip, but if you're having a tough time with the arm across the center line, you can always go back to your gulliotines.

Do you ever have issues with them not rolling then your stuck in what looks like a necktie position or if you don't roll it starts choking?
The only issue would be a bent leg, if you never straighten your top leg, no chin to chest, no chin to chest..... no roll
Is this safer than gator rolling to get their back to the mat?
If they're bigger than you, yes.
