Mmmm not really. This feels more like Tyler complaining that people expect him to advocate for values when he wishes he could be complicit, even or especially when it’s a polarized situation, and there’s a clear injustice. Honestly this song kind of gives off strong political moderate vibes, which won’t sit well with his general audience.

This album is not nearly as happy as it seems once you pay a bit more attention. But I hope that Tyler is happy.
This song exemplifies why I love these two guys. They're not only highly talented but also totally independent. Listen to the lyrics. Think for yourself. Don't believe the hype. Long live Tyler and Joshua.

@@facelessandnameless maybe, its sounds like tyler wrote that solo but he can wait a little bir for learning guitar more but tone is enough for a song like that
Probably my favorite song in this album it hits hard, I’ve personally seen the divide that’s been happening since the pandemic. Families being split apart because of different beliefs it’s sad. This song speaks so much to me. I’m so sick and tired of all of us being so divided…
This feels a lot to me like a critique on the media, with all the "we'll never take it" and "they profit off a great divide", etc. Also the bass and drums in this song are a bop. Edit: Now that I think about it, this song is kind of a sequel to "We Don't Believe What's on TV"
exactly. I think the whole album is criptic like others we just have to look deeper. I think our boys are telling us that this is not they wanna do. this is the label making them do this and if we fans stay true and stick with our boys then no one can touch them and they can make the music they like. Also the album maybe poppy because Tyler is genuinely happy because of Rosie and Jenna and is spending more time with his family. He made out of dema
@@foundingtitann Completly agreed. I have a very big theory about this album Song by song. This album is Trench but through bishop's mouth. All the songs align. There's a song about jenna, his brother, the clique, ned....everything makes sense. The framing and Shots of Jumpsuit and Choker are identical
This song hits me in all the right ways. The media and what they've done to society. We're not informed. Spoon fed what they want us to think, but never told what we really need to know. Pitting us against every possible point of division so we never recognize who the true enemy is.
I think that line is actually one of the best in the song. There's three ways to see it: 1. Don't waste your time over-educating yourself, and then doing nothing with it; don't let potential be written on your tombstone. 2. Don't educate yourself more than you need to, because educational systems are not immune to corruption, just like any other institution. False narratives and brainwashing can come with that Harvard degree. 3. the line could also be read as: "yes, educate yourself (but not too much because then you will be able to resist us)".
maybe. when he made guns for hands he was in a bad place, maybe had to constantly remind himself "dont take it" maybe today since hes better he can make an oath of "ill never take it"
I’m so excited. After I finish freaking out and like semi shaking from excitement I am gonna shut all the lights off and just put headphones on and fully immerse myself in this entire album. Then I might cry from joy... idk we will see
70s-90s is a huge number of years. I'm not sure that really explains the sound of this album. I get where you're coming form but to narrow it down I'd say mid-late 90s. This album is very reminiscent of Third Eye Blind.
@@hmazzy4099 yeah, sorry it was worded weird. I just means it sounds retro. I didn’t know what decade since I don’t listen to older music so I put a general range
I really think he refers about watching the tube all the bad things happening in the news last year, he thought "nope, too much negativity and politics" and he choose to learn to play guitar instead.... so the new album was born
This is presently my favourite track on the album, I absolutely love the layering of this track, especially that grungy/flange guitar effect that builds in from about 40 seconds in.
I believe this song is about his near cancellation that occurred last summer. The guitar symbolizes learning about social issues, “but never too much” meaning don’t take everything they say into full account. “Lying through their teeth” those who don’t listen to his music or aren’t his longtime fans wouldn’t know who he is and take his actions at face value and blow them out of proportion.
Right as my whole life is falling apart they release the album I’m so happy there is light in all this darkness it’s really hard to keep going but this really helped me tonight thank you

well i’ve got school in an hour
YUP
I finished my study time just now
Shhhh don’t call me out like that
Josh always had drum solos, now Tyler gets his guitar solo. they truly are switching places wow
That was a pretty lame and shitty sounding guitar solo though…
@@facelessandnameless maybe, its sounds like tyler wrote that solo but he can wait a little bir for learning guitar more but tone is enough for a song like that
And Josh sang in the new Saturday music video
Probably my favorite song in this album it hits hard, I’ve personally seen the divide that’s been happening since the pandemic. Families being split apart because of different beliefs it’s sad. This song speaks so much to me. I’m so sick and tired of all of us being so divided…
This sounds more like GUNS FOR HANDS....
"Don't take it"
And now its
"Never take it"
These guys are mysterious lol
@Angel Grace Marie Calimoso exactly
Yep, i said the same. Is like similar sounds
same energy
You have to listen in order and it makes perfect sense
@@angierose3627 ikrrr dude
This feels a lot to me like a critique on the media, with all the "we'll never take it" and "they profit off a great divide", etc. Also the bass and drums in this song are a bop.
Edit: Now that I think about it, this song is kind of a sequel to "We Don't Believe What's on TV"
Yessss
@@zodix44 this entire album is about dema and controlled by dema, you can see it especially in the live stream
@@zodix44 Do you have that theory posted anywhere yet (Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, etc)? And if so, can I get a link?
Un verdadero fan escuchando todo el álbum completo sin saltarse un solo minuto
Yo me comí hasta los anuncios completosss!!!
Claroo!!!!
Aquí estoy 💛

que haces aqui mikasa
This song hits me in all the right ways. The media and what they've done to society. We're not informed. Spoon fed what they want us to think, but never told what we really need to know. Pitting us against every possible point of division so we never recognize who the true enemy is.
Tyler’s based
Pov: You're listening to an absolute banger of an album.
Yesss
Yep
Idk man this is great but bounce man hits different for me
Fuck yeah
definitivamente mi canción favorita del álbum, gracias twenty one pilots por tremendas joyas
Twenty Øne Pilots gracias por existir 😭♥️
"you better educate yourself but never too much"
Me, preparing for my graduating exams: okay, if you say so-
*Thowing my books out of the window *
have fun
LOL
I think that line is actually one of the best in the song. There's three ways to see it:
I think it meant some things are better unknown but if you say so
Lo que haría un papulince
I love how upbeat and chill this album is. The vibes are on another level
SON LO MEJOR QUE EXISTE, LOS AMO TWENTY ONE PILOTS❤
Just as I was about to go to bed, they drop another bop. I DONT THINK I CAN TAKE IT
They dropped the whole album. Hell yea bro
@@TigerzRkewl I KNOW IM JUST REALIZING IT IDK WHY I WAS JUST READY FOR BED BUT NOW IM JAMMING
So, it's been 3 days and I see that this song is already underrated, huh?
Sadly 😔😔😔
It's not underrated
It's just the lyric video, everyone knows that lyric videos get way less views than the video clips
@@matteowzz864 it's still criminally underrated around the clique in other platforms
@@cephi wow, I wonder why
Maybe because it's new, but idk
Truly a mystery
MatteoWzZ
But it is still the least viewed song on the album
Guns for Hands: "Don't take it, take it, take it"
Never take It: "Never take it"
Connection?
maybe. when he made guns for hands he was in a bad place, maybe had to constantly remind himself "dont take it" maybe today since hes better he can make an oath of "ill never take it"

I’m so excited. After I finish freaking out and like semi shaking from excitement I am gonna shut all the lights off and just put headphones on and fully immerse myself in this entire album. Then I might cry from joy... idk we will see
Lol me too
I definitely cried from joy. 🖤 This is my fave.
i think this is my favourite song from the entire album
agreed!
Sameee
Me too. I love the rythm
Thee most under-rated song 2021, this song is amazing and i wish it got more attention.
As always, thank you Tyler and Josh for great music!
This whole album sounds like it’s from the 70-90s (I don’t know much about older music, I’m just assuming) and I love it
Yess!!! The guitar solo is a perfect fit for the vibe as well aaaah I’m in love with SAI 🤩🤩
yes!! much like 70’s
70s-90s is a huge number of years. I'm not sure that really explains the sound of this album. I get where you're coming form but to narrow it down I'd say mid-late 90s. This album is very reminiscent of Third Eye Blind.
That's the idea... i guess
@@hmazzy4099 yeah, sorry it was worded weird. I just means it sounds retro. I didn’t know what decade since I don’t listen to older music so I put a general range
AHHHH los gritos de tyler hacen que merezca la pena vivir
Is Tyler really saying he watched the tube to teach himself guitar? Tyler just sitting an entire summer watching guitar vids on YT
I really think he refers about watching the tube all the bad things happening in the news last year, he thought "nope, too much negativity and politics" and he choose to learn to play guitar instead.... so the new album was born
We don't believe what's on TV
"The tube" is slang for TV and its been a slang term for decades longer than TH-cam has existed.
@@bethanystein7708 ^ where youtube gets its name even! And if anyone was curious, refers to the vacuum tubes TVs had when they first became popular
This is presently my favourite track on the album, I absolutely love the layering of this track, especially that grungy/flange guitar effect that builds in from about 40 seconds in.
I like the contrast between his upbeat tone, and his description of some kind of dystopia.
Mi cerebro: con esta canción ya terminaste de escuchar el álbum, ahora ve a dormir.
Yo: ah no, eso sí que nooo, vamo´a escucho otra y otra y otra vez
🤣🤣😏
Está bueno este álbum 💗
😂😂😂😂👌
This sounds like a chill Danger Days track and I'm all for it
WAIT UR KINDA RIGHT
in a strange way i get foster the people vibes from this song
Uno de los mejores temas del album. Twenty one pilots me salvaste del aburrimiento. Siempre haciendo canciones buenas.
Twenty One Pilots siempre trayendonos arte.🛐
I believe this song is about his near cancellation that occurred last summer.
The guitar symbolizes learning about social issues, “but never too much” meaning don’t take everything they say into full account. “Lying through their teeth” those who don’t listen to his music or aren’t his longtime fans wouldn’t know who he is and take his actions at face value and blow them out of proportion.
POV: Twenty one pilots just posted the album and you can't choose what song to listen to first
Yeah lol
You don't know the pov.
Listening in order

Right as my whole life is falling apart they release the album I’m so happy there is light in all this darkness it’s really hard to keep going but this really helped me tonight thank you
Stay alive my fren ||-//
This song has always seemed one of the most hopeful on this album.

IT HAS THE MOST YELLOW!

OH MY GOD I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR A SONG TO SAY THIS AND THEN MY FAVORITE BAND DOES??? The government tries to confuse us with lies and divide us along party lines- but we'll NEVER TAKE IT!!!
💯 It's self-preservation, really. If government can keep us down and divided, we'll be more reliant on them, creating the need for bigger and bigger government. And the media is right there stoking the fear.
@@thousandfootdeepend1278 I was starting to get worried that I was the only one who understood the song this way. Glad I’m not the only one!! But still concerned for how many people STILL don’t get it.
Yess I'm so glad to see others talking about this. The people who know the truth will see it immediately but others might be blind to it.
@@thousandfootdeepend1278 Exactly!!!!
@@Zindizzle15 same, I feel like the point of this song will go over a lot of clikkies heads...but I'm so glad that there are more people that see it the way I do!!!
