Tyler uses Mulberry Street as a metaphor for feeling out of place, or a reminder that you’re somewhere where you haven’t been before. He shared in a 2021 interview with Zane Lowe that this was where he and Josh were taken on his first visit to New York City, and he wanted to capture what it felt like to be in the midst of the largest city in the U.S. with this song.
Mulberry Street used to part of Little Italy in NYC, I don’t know if it still is. I remember some really good Italian restaurants I ate at there, many years ago.

can we just appreciate the fact that ever since Rosie came to this world Tyler's music became happier? edit: I wanna rephrase this. To me (at least) it seems Tyler wants Rosie to remember his happy songs rather than his songs that are about depression and stuff like that. So I think that's why ever since Rosie was born, Tyler wants to make more upbeat songs (even if the lyrics are about sadness) for Rosie. I think it's really sweet
Not to be pessimistic, but there's some evidence that shows depressed people with children ending up feeling strong emotions of guilt when debating suicide because of the amount of investment in them - so they hide it. It's irrational thinking, and I sure want to believe he's making happy songs because he wants to. Buuut you should keep that in mind - Linkin Park's Chester Bennington also had 6 (?) kids, made a happy pop album, and then committed suicide couple months later.
This song encouraged me to get the help I need, through therapy. “Keep your bliss, there’s nothing wrong with this.” My mental health issues control my entire life, yet I refuse to get help. I’ve always felt like I could handle it on my own, or that it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Like I’m just faking it for attention. These lyrics are like the voice in my head telling me “you’re fine, you don’t need help,” when in reality, I do. I have to ignore that voice, and do what’s best for me. I want to get better.
idk how people can say its a bad album they have always been different in each album with a sprinkle of old album somewhere in their songs. IM here for this album it is amazing

tbh this song has stuck with me the most from this album so far. it's just stuck in my head all day
This is probably the first time I've listened to a band for so long and their music changed a lot but I still listen to them... It sounds so different than their older music that I listened to through highschool but it's still GOOD.
Same

This album was an initial surprise but QUICKLY has become a favorite. We needed this.

I remember some really good Italian restaurants I ate at there, many years ago.
i think its when you are in a bad place but for a moment you feel good/forget/have fun. and thats why it say move sidaway because you are not going foward and fixin your problems you just forget for a moment :v
MAYBE muberry street is the street of blurryface but as sai is propaganda it says mubuerry because sounds "beautiful" or more happy then blurry face and the song sounds happy too so the ones in dema think that being in mberry street is nice = not going foward with your life and just being sedated and forget about your problems¡ wich is what nico and niners want that you stay in dema.
:V
thats what this song is about from now on for me :3
It's my favourite
the deep voice effect he used while saying mulberry street sounds like the same one he used for blurryface but this time blurryface agrees with tyler
Damn, now this just shows how dark and deep this song is despite how cheery its tone is...
Ikr? It's so creepy

can we just appreciate the fact that ever since Rosie came to this world Tyler's music became happier?
edit: I wanna rephrase this.
I mean the lyrics are talking about being sad
The lyrics of Good Day disagree with @hair ‘s statement.
The livestream experience disagrees
Errr, they are happy because they're propaganda for dema. Dont disagree tho, because of level of concern
I want to get better.
good luck my man
idk how people can say its a bad album they have always been different in each album with a sprinkle of old album somewhere in their songs. IM here for this album it is amazing
Yeah, pretty much every album is an evolution or a pace-change in some form. They're all great.
