Nice but you are missing a few, like the Double Trouble Chainsaw, Redshift, Coral Oscillator, stuff you get on NG++ I guess? Save for double trouble which is a treasure chest item.
If we're talking pound-for-pound, AKA you can fit them on the lightest, fastest mechs, the laser pistols are the GOAT. I used dual laser pistols and dual sweet sixteen shotties to clear the arena and beat the whole game.
In the older games you could get melee arms that were jusy energy swords. You could also have back up weapons either swords or pistols which only deployed when you ran out of ammo. But could be dual wielded.
A lot of those melee weapons can do more than one hit if you tap their uncharged attacks. Stat shows “consecutive attacks” first plasma sword does two hits
You didn't show that you can actually make a 6 hit combo with a stun baton if you keep spamming the attack button. Additionaly- if you don't want enemies to attack you during a test you can just disable their AI, there's button for that too.
Sadly you can't dual wield swords/pile bunker in this game, if they going to add dlc, I hope they put back the arm swords. Bu I can't complain those melee animations, it looks amazing
I haven't gotten the game yet, but when I do I'm gonna make my core to be my boi Mul-T from Risk of Rain 2. Gonna give it the Gatling Gun for Mul-T's Auto-Nailgun, the Laser Slicer for Mul-T's Power-Saw, a Laser Cannon for Mul-T's Rebar Puncher, and Missile Launcher for Mul-T's Scrap Launcher.
I think a bazooka or grenade launcher would be a better fit (they are explosive , where missiles just home in) Also, there is a chainsaw you could use for the saw!
Bazooka is hand only, with a fun double barrel grenade launcher called the songbirds being my reccomendation for shoulder explosive (easy to get and fun to see it double tap enemies)
I don't understand. Is there not a generator with higher energy output and frame parts with low energy consumption? It looks like he just changed to legs that would let him use it quickly instead of swapping a bunch of other stuff.
Wow, you're only showing the first hit of multi-hit weapons. Ok, the video's kind of a flop for these reasons, but.... THANK YOU ANYWAY! Also, that's not the Moonlight @ 4:39, it's literally the starting weapon 'Pulse Blade'.
It's the blue pew, purple pixiedust and bubbles from Elden Ring. I'm enjoying the game (early in my first playthrough) but I'm kinda disappointed watching a weapon showcase and seeing the same damn effects from every fromsoft game in mech weapons here. Was hoping for something different. The shotguns and machine guns look cool, but I've cast a bunch of these other "spells" in the souls series already 😮 Thank god there's missiles. Maybe they'll add those in the Elden Ring DLC 😅😅😅 Either way, its very cool mech experience in 3rd person.
Has anyone tried using the stun bomb launcher? I used it in the testing room and it felt so shit to use, having weak damage and shit ammo count, that I never bothered bringing it to a mission.
Can someone tell me where directly i get these three weapons The swarm missle for left/right hand The cluster bomb for shoulder The swarm missle for shoulder Im on NG+ right now
i think there are 7-8 coral weapons after NG+2, the only coral tool you can aquiere earlier is the coral core at rank 9 of the log hunt which makes your jets and assault/protective armors glow red coral + gives you an unique death animation
I was hoping From Software would add various utility skills to the mech parts to open up more tactical options for your mech. Things like deployable sentry turrets, attack drones, cloaking devices, missile jammers, bubble shields, deployable traps and mines, decoy holograms, repair tools and wings to allow longer flight times or a gliding ability, it would add another layer of options for building mechs and more strategies in combat. Unfortunately the combat loop is basically just boost and shoot, boost and shoot, boost and shoot.
Many of these are already in the game tho and for longer flight just simply build your mech that optimize saving a lot of boost energy. Deployable traps and mines are a thing in ac 4 but they are ultimately useless and never work since most enemies can fly. Decoy holograms and cloaking devices do cool tho.
@@huyle-ob8rg I'm talking more about full on unique parts with active abilities on the mechs not just weapon variations, actual flight capable mechs not just extending boost time, or drones that are really independent entities rather than just guns disguised as drones or jammers that's aren't just an elaborate stagger mechanic. Fromsoft stuck with what they're comfortable with, thus the simple combat loop of tightly timed dodge attack, dodge attack, dodge attack just like the souls games. I was hoping they'd move away from that simple formula and give deeper strategic options to players given the customization component of AC games. Would it have been impossible to balance? Of course but it would have been fun with all the possibilities.
I was sorta surprised how there wasn't more stealth options, since this game is coming from the guy who designed Sekiro's combat. Not only a cloaking device, but also other AC parts that would make your character harder to detect and/or lock onto. Would have added another dimension to making an AC other then light or heavy with unique legs.
What do you think are the best weapons in this game?

Forgot about the chainsaw and the coral weapons there’s also a coral shield that blocks you an entire 360 degrees instead of the typical 180
Hello, how do you get the Stun Gun? The Handgun one.
@@elex2170 further on in the story around chapter 4-5
My only complaint in this game is that you can't dual-wield melee. The possibilities would be endless at that point.
you can have 2 melee weapons tho

Just put the other melee on your back

You’re missing a lot of weapons. Like all of the coral red laser weapons and a few more melee
i was gonna say....
which ones?

This is missing all the Coral weapons so not all weapons at all
Also no chainsaw so
Where do you get the laser slicer at?
Ah, Pile Bunker my beloved
Amazing video 10/10 Good job
Holy smokes this video is a huge help. Right on for sharing this!

How did you unlock the laser slicer?
Just finished the game with "liberator" ending and trying to find this too.
NG+
Maybr if we ask nicely theyll put dual weilding melee in an update for us
