If this movie came out after 2016 when anime and weab culture was actually more predominant it would have actually popped off and not flopped like it did because 2008 critics had worse taste than todays game journalists. Sure i can see some cheesy and corny scenes in the movie, its not perfect, but it didnt deserve half the shit it was thrown at back in the day and much less the title of one of the worse live actions of film history.

I honestly would have preferred a speed racer movie series compared to fast and furious since the shit they are doing with those movies are getting to speed racers level of crazy in terms of car stunts and gadgets so imagine if we had a movie series about people doing crazy shit on a fast car compared to a realistic movie series about fast cars becoming less realistic there will be less complaints
Yeah it's definitely not for people with epilepsy, very colorful and flashy especially in the end scenes in the Grand Prix. This Movie gave me so many cool ideas for GTA races.

I saw this movie when I was 7 years old on cartoon network and I was able to see it again on Amazon prime, they gave me very nice memories,it reminded me of my childhood days when i was obsessed with hot wheels cars.an underrated movie

for a moment I imagined an initial d crossover with acceleracers, because speed racer that I remember was a very simple one, even though this is one of the best anime adaptations, the most surprising thing is to be hollywood, let's face it, the directors came from matrix

Honestly I wish we got to see more of the Mach 5 in the movie rather than just that one race and just see it in the background.

Such a fun film about an all time classic our parents grew up to.
I was three years old when this came out. I remember watching this when I was little. I had the helmet and Mach 5 car toy
I saw this movie when I was 7 years old on cartoon network and I was able to see it again on Amazon prime, they gave me very nice memories,it reminded me of my childhood days when i was obsessed with hot wheels cars.an underrated movie
God I wish there were more movies or games about racing like this movie...
