My best friend sent me this link a few weeks before he passed away. This is the first time I've listened to it since he left. Not been able to bring myself to listen to it since. We were both massive GD fans and he loved Wolf Alice. Miss you buddy 😢

people really need to understand what a cover is, jesus christ if the song doesnt sound like a green day song thats the fucking point! its a cover! they made it their own style, if you dont like it then go listen to the original one but they did a good job
They did a good job, but this is more of a Performance than a Cover. It's a good performance of a Green Day song, but there are so few changes from the original it's hard to call it impressive. Great covers stand outside of their originals, and that is very hard to do. For example, the Script covering Lose Yourself is completely different from the original, and both are outstanding.

When i listen to this, I remember a time before I was pretentious teenager who would've scolded at the idea of listening to green day. When I was just a boy with my walkman cd player in San Francisco's chinatown spinning 'Warning' all the time on repeat, all romantic and sentimental, imagining the great formative experiences I'd have growing older. Didn't quite imagine the heartbreak or the pain of true loss, but I'm still happy I've lived some experiences I could've never imagined would be so beautiful. This cover captures that for me.

Her voice is so soothing....yet this song rips me apart. Things im happy I did as a kid, things I wish I would have said to my dad before his passing, and things I didnt do with my kids. Nice work

I've loved Green Day forever. I don't have any family left besides a wife and son, and we are growing very distant, very quickly. I'm dying from a condition there is no turning back from. They know it, don't accept it, and are rurning a blind eye to it. They don't take seriously my plan to depart on my terms is serious and is planned. I've seen family members become burdens and I won't do that.
