    TRUE WORDS!!
    Harley, I had a job site last year stress, ate like sh!t. Got a better job site in 2024. I can eat better on my breaks. I work part time but still can pay my bills. I want to be healthy in 2024 and I am. 🚴‍♀️, rowing machine, training. Healthy is better then $$ $.
    Keep it up!👍💪🙂

    To the author of the question Durian read: Something’s gotta give. Consider taking your little ones off meat if you already haven’t. It will make them much easier emotionally to handle, their behavior will improve. You can’t care what others around you think about it. Consider taking glucose powder in addition to your regular high carb diet. Get your spouse to try it also if you can. Economize and leave your job if possible. You can always make more money later.

    As someone who went through a super stressful job situation for a while and saw massive negative changes to my sleep quality, digestive strength and body composition, I feel their pain. Didn't matter what I ate, or didn't, and didn't matter what exercise I did, or didn't do. Cortisol belly is a thing.

    2:55 I tried all this to gain weight and it worked but I felt like absolute garbage every day, I could get to the gym but the fatigue after a morning workout carried to the rest of the day, I’d literally lie down on the carpet for hours wasting time on Facebook
    Then I realised I’m much happier personally at 70kg looking more shredded VS following the stereotypical gym bro who is considered ‘fit’ by society but can’t run a mile, I’m happier being lean & eating fruit&veg and feeling fresh and alert 24/7

    Thanks for your advice! I wanted to lose 2 kg and get leaner so that may W/kg ratio increase. I cut on protein and fat and added a lot of carbs. I've lost 2 kg and if I want to I would go even lower but don't want to lose sprint. I eat whenever I want and as much as I want. Edit: carbs help a lot with recovery if you are carbed the fuck up you recover fast

      people who never offered precise detailed explanations about how certain processes work were very inaccurate and that wasted much of our lifetime and was annoying. aside of that, what is cortisol belly?

    • @riceisnice444
      @riceisnice444 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can increase NAD by getting fear out and watching funny movies. Look up Norman Cousins, dance and have more fun in life. That’s why Durian always emphasizes life quality, carbs increase that, by a lot and will naturally increase NAD. You don’t need to supplement it.

    • @riceisnice444
      @riceisnice444 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To increase glycolysis eat toast, baked potatoes and focus on anything baked in dry heat like fat free oatmeal cookies, especially for breakfast. Avoid smoothies and limit high liquid foods till your metabolism shifts. When it’s all humming, you can eat the juicy fruits and smoothies again for breakfast.

    Not all animals make you fat or all body builders would be fat -eating veggies and skinless chicken breast make me loose more then grains and veggies -I’m sure it’s bc I didn’t live my whole life eating unrestricted carbs bc I’m 49 and grew up in a time when low carb was stressed so now if I ate like you I’d definitely gain weight -I don’t eat chicken currently but I know when I experiment it is what Happens
    Chronometer shows less fat in a small portion of chicken has same fat grams as my 1/2 gf oats

      Animal products = weight gain.
      That’s why bodybuilding DOESNT like vegan because you CAN’T get your heaviest on just plants. To be your heaviest self you NEED animal products natty or not.

      Skinless chicken and veggies is eating disorder calorie restriction, which is what anyone who is skinny eating meat has to do. That makes people crazy from my observations. Then their bones melt away from living on high acid foods.

      Depends on the type of fat, the type of carbs, the amount of dietry protein,stress, bodily energy expenditure, and amount of these bodily fuel sources consumed at the same time !
      Read up on the randle cycle to have a better understanding of the science behind bodily energy utilisation.
      A diet that is designed to maximise the athletic performance of the top 0.1% of the population does not make it right for the other 99.9% who do not have the same athletic performance requirements.
      To say the fat you eat is the fat you wear is absolute BS!
