Aerosoft announced today they are also doing PW, GE and NEO variants. Let’s just get one variant ready first…
Exactly..they could release the RR base vairant which was ready and later release the others which are currently in development.

It will be great to add wing flex, flaps shake and engine wobble too for a heavy jet like this to add ultra immersion and realism.

It looks nice, but I hope we get more than just the RR engine variant.
Well yes...Been wanting that to happen since years.But,they are not planning to do it anytime.Wished they could bring in the GE and PW variants as an expansion pack to the base.Just like their Aerosoft A320 Family they had both engine variants on it.
Same dumb decision as their A330 Professional Series for P3D. They only ever released the RR variant. Makes no sense at all.

@@OCX600RR It is strange thought process not too so so by Aersoft. They are missing out on people like me who only want to fly airlines (Delta, Air France, Iberia, etc.) who use the GE and/or PW engines. Sounds like I won’t be buying it if it goes the same direction as the P3D product.

Lol, have you ever programmed simulated systems? Modelling and texturing alone can take months to years depending on experience and size of the team. This is the way it's always been with third party flight sim addons. Get used to it, bud.
That might be true with a legit team, but all they’ll do is abandon it when it gets too hard.
The wingflex at 0:49 looks like amateur stuff compared to the recent FBW A380 video, Mr Kok says they are struggling with VNAV so wont release in a longtime or in a broken state and then abandoned as usual with aerosoft and their twotter CRJ
I agree. Most of what we have seen and know about the product beyond the external 3d model and textures does not look promising. It is sad, I hope other developers don't skip the A330 because of the competition (please Fenix).

@CMBelite-FR efb seemed pretty solid. Unfortunately system wise I was unable to test lnav/vnav or enter a flight plan to see how well the plane followed the flight path. Basically hand flew and played around with heading mode and vs. External model was nice and handled like it was larger than an a320

It's really disappointing to see that the Aerosoft A330 still hasn't been released, even though it was first announced in 2020. We've been waiting for years, and the constant delays are frustrating. I hope the final product will be worth the wait, but better communication and sticking to deadlines would go a long way.

You won't get PMDG/ Fenix quality of Aerosoft.

I'm grabbing this as soon as it comes out. I had the Aerosoft airbus family on FSX and loved it so I know how amazing this 330 will be. I hope it has a working weather radar as that's the only thing missing from the Fenix.
For msfs problems it cannot be operated, it's sad to know but we all hope in a miracle!

Hi all.Just read few comments down here and yes,I too have mentioned about my point of view towards the Aerosoft A330.Well,firstly I am unhappy as they are only releasing one engine variant(RR trent) just as they did for the P3D version. However, just watched the trailer again towards the end it says A330-343 RR, which was mentioned, possibly that could hint that the other engine variants might be coming after this initial release as an expansion or as a future update.("This is just my guess").If that happens,well I am happilu gonna say yes to the product once its released :) fingers crossed :)

Looks amazing! I had the P3D version and loved the aircraft. I just hope that wing flex is worked on more, and I am sure it will be (0:49). It would be really nice to have the wings flex and jump around not just for flight, but whilst taxing and on the ground, like the Asobo 787 or a320. Much similar wing dynamics are also seen with the Inibuilds A310, on the ground, and for flight. Great stuff, can't wait!

@Aerosoft Official please Release the A330 RR variant first for us who had been eagerly waiting for this and release the others ( the newly announced and workin progress engine variants and NEO later)when ready as an update.
I guess the reason for the delay is that they were still not ready to release the RR variant, so they needed to further delay it and as a reason they told us that they want to release the neo and other engine variants together but they actually just needed more time for the RR. Thats what I think, but it's poor spectaculation.

Yeah, I’m not buying this because of how they dealt with those two aircraft. Aerosoft have clearly shown a lack of care and seriousness in crafting and supporting their products these days.

@@saren6538 False - what Fenix does is change the textures, as the rain droplets can be modified to be stretched or kept the same. Fenix stretch it so it looks like the droplets are being dragged aside, they are not removed

They come with only the RR trent engines. I guess you mean the GE cf6 and PW engine variants.

I’m not holding out hope on super detailed product, after the lack of support for the CRJ. Even to this day, there are issues with VNAV, ILS landing, nav mode, etc.
I need a Freighter version now. 😭

Interesting how lots of payware aircraft are finally being developed for MSFS and 2024 is already coming next year. lol.
I really fail to see why they couldn't implement those features into the current sim. It's all being done on the same engine anyhow. Annoying.
They will work in that version of the sim, at most with a small patch. And then if they deem it worth it another patch to upgrade any features available in the new sim.
