Home to Communist leader, Gennady Zyuganov, and a giant statue of Lenin, the region breeds Communist diehards anxious to ward off the economic deprivations of democracy. Outside the red belt, the party is vulnerable. This report examines the negative coverage given to the Communists by the media. At Moscow's TV station, rows of screens show Yeltsin vigorous in the midst of his campaign. Ksenia Ponomayova, the executive producer of news Programme Vremya, confirms that communism is bad for the media and admits to helping Yeltsin. Her partner Nikita Golovanov publishes the anti-Zyuganov propaganda sheet 'God Forbid' where graphical wizardry transforms Zyuganov into a lizard with a flickering tongue. Communist party organiser, Gregori Rebrov denounces the publication as 'delirious'.

Yeltsin was just a CIA stooge in my opinion. They were angry at him because he helped destroy the USSR! He didn't "save democracy" despite what that idiot says.
I like how Yeltsin shelling the parliament building and unarmed protesters with tanks is the democracy guy. And then it's great that the media is biased...you know what whatever it's at least funny.
I was taken aback by their framing and bias. It goes to show that "reason is the slave of desire."
It didn't matter that the Communists were appealing to the struggles of everyday Russians. What mattered was that the nouveau riche had to maintain their status.

Russia needs a party with workers, peasants, students, youths, middleclass, and patriotic upper class and nationalistic Business class. Have to make a joint front under the leadership of Communist Party of Marxist -Leninist Philosophy. Accumulate all the positive aspect of Feudalism, Capitalism, and Practiced Socialism. Start study class, analysis the present development of working class, trade and business, world economy, unity and social welfare of Russian economy with private and public holding and the growth structure and potential. Organize debate and discussion, seminar of current issues . Russian Communist party will stand fast and steady again.
