"he's not outside causality, his ability only allows him to place himself outside causality" that's the same thing... also moving and existing on that high of a realm gives you higher dimensionality by default. if i'm moved into a 4D space, that doesn't make me 4D, that just means i'm in a space that is 4D, not that i can move or manipulate 4D things.
The fact that EV can even view entire space-times as tiny bubbles is already 4D bare minimum. perceiving them from an even higher dimension could be 5D. splitting space-times (as blast says that he can ignore distance, energy, and size with his attacks, meaning he can destroy every bit of any universe he targest) is a kinda crazy feat.
But going outside causality itself? that's just plot manipulation with extra steps. EV has plot manipulation. going outside a cosmology is a crazy feat. This means that he is outside of the story of OPM itself. depending on the cosmology of OPM, this can scale anywhere from 4D+ to outerversal. Let's see..
We have the base 3D cosmology
Then we have the time-space continuum (4D)
We have blast and cfg who are able to either manipulate the 4D continuum through hax or sheer dimensionality.
Then we have saitama who can surpass this again (5D) (if you don't believe saitama can interact with 4D-5D constructs, we have confirmation through pheonix man's non-physical realm existing in another dimension and saitama casually breaks into this).
We have EV going outside this cosmology (6D)
And it's just a 6D hax at best with AP and DC no near close to the legit 6D even 4D lvl creatures

I think the logic behind Saitama breaking his limiter is like it being a wall, sure you might be able to punch through a wall especially taking it's material into account. But if you just put your fist up to it slowly, sure you might be able to lean into the wall with technically more force than a punch. But it's probably not going to break like that.

There is literally no difference between those two terms. He broke the limiter, meaning he removed what restricts the human body from growing stronger after a couple of years of training to the highest peak, even with enhancement drugs.

When you remove a limiter, you won't have any limiter from now on. Breaking your limiter means you push yourself past the limits of the human body to get stronger. That's basically what monsterification is. But it just puts a new limiter in front of that. Every monster has managed to "break their limiter" by forcing themselves through physical changes. (ex.Awakaned Garou)
Removing your limiter is what Saitama did. It basically means there is no longer a cap on how much strength you can gain. Watch the Official trailer of OPM Season 3" the narrator explains it very well what's different from Garou Breaking Limit from Saitama Removing Limit. "Low 1-C: characters that can significantly affect, create or destroy structures that are 1 uncountably infinite layer above Low 2-C structures."
(Corresponds to R^5, or 5-dimensional real coordinate space)
"Low 2-C: Characters or objects whose power is uncountably infinitely greater than the prior tiers. That is to say, they can significantly affect, create and/or destroy higher-dimensional structures that exceed lesser objects by an uncountably infinite margin. An example of this is 4-dimensional spacetime continuums of universal size, but this can be generalized to any 4-dimensional structure of a similar scope."
So in tern, being 1 uncountably infinite layer above a 4D realm is enough to qualify for Low 1-C. Similiarly, a 5D being would fulfill the requirement of being an uncountably infinite layer above Low 2-C (with context).
Now, on to the scale-
(2) Scaling: The main line of scaling currently, comes from Chapter 209 of the OPM manga, where we see Saitama casually grabbing Empty Void's 'Dimension Blades'. This is an extremely impressive feat for the following reasons-
[1] Empty Void's 'Dimension Slash', according to Blast, comes from a higher plane, which attacks it's target regardless of the opponents Distance, Size and energy.
- Further more, we get in the official translstions that EV's 'Dimension Slash' isn't limited in the property of ignorance, but rather the scale to which he can destroy stuff.
(EX: Normally he would be able to destroy an infinite 4D amounts of stuff, but now, he can't and is limited to a specific portion.)
- Not only that, we also get MULTIPLE and I mean MULTIPLE statements of the same kind saying the same thing, that EV's higher plane is a *HIGHER DIMENSION*. As such, this is narratively coherent with what is stated and shown in the manga.
Possible Questions/Objections:
{1} EV's scale of the DS being limited is in significant, as regardless of the scale, the power behind the slash qualifies for Multiversal+ regardless of the extent of the scale (i.e. how much he cut). An explanation as to why is provided below-
Us 3D beings can hit and affect the same 3D objects in our worlds, but by doing so, the force is either smaller or larger depending on size and stuff, right (basics of pressure). In a similiar sense, a higher let's say 5D being isn't bound by the vector measurements of the 3rd dimension, as such, completely transcending it. This intern means that regardless of where he attacks the attack will always be the same power-wise in respects to he lower dimension.
For further simplification, force allows finitude but weakness of range, but a higher dimensional being is not bound by force (our traditional concept of it), as such, if he were to interact with a lower dimensions, it would have basically an unquantifiable amount of force in respects to the lower 3D (like literally), making the power of the 5D entity the same regardless of the seemingly small or large scale of the destruction caused.
[2] Saitama I'm chapter 209 is seen holding this with his 2 fingers. This, well for the more reasonable people, I don't need to explain why it is impressive, but in short, this would mean that Saitama is at least equal to the blade in AP and 'Durability' (you cannot realistically do this without being on the same plane or some other methodology as a lower dimensional being). Now for Saitama's power, this would have these implications-
- (A) Saitama's Growth is either dimensionally unbounded, or grows even higher dimensionally.
- (B) Saitama has resistance to any form of spatial hax, at least on a 5D level, but most likely on any possible dimensionality (Saitama inherently isn't a higher dimensional being, as such, him catching it would mean he is immune to the effects of any higher dimensional being on a 3D plane, cause inherently Saitama is 3D. This would grant resistance to any level of spatial or temporal hax as the effects a higher let's say 5th dimension has on a single 3D object is the same as a higher 11th dimension.)
- (C) Resistance to any form of durability negation, at least on a 5D level, and likely even any dimensional level (basically the same reasoning as what I mentioned in 'B'.)
So in short, with what Saitama did by just grabbing DS, he is automatically qualifying for Multiversal+ regardless of what you say.
(3) This is probably by far the most underrated part of the feats in Chapter 209, and it's the fact that Saitama, after literally holding DS, proceeds to drag EV down to a lower 3D PLANE from a higher 5D one.
This is again significantly impressive for the following reasons-
{1} As established prior, EV when using this dimension is 5D, and as mentioned prior, the qualification for the tier Low 1-C is-
"Low 1-C: characters that can significantly affect, create or destroy structures that are 1 uncountably infinite layer above Low 2-C structures."
Which is equivalent to any 5th dimensional object.
- Saitama by dragging Empty Void down is directly interacting with a 5th dimensional being
- This is akin to "destroying" a 5D object, but at minimum falls under him "significantly affecting..." A higher 5th dimensional structure or being.
- By doing this, Saitama would need to forcefully reduce the dimensionality of a higher 5th dimensional being, which would automatically qualify for tier Low 1-C.
- This would scale to both AP but at least durability and I don't want to bother explaining why.
(4) Justifications: for further justification of EV's higher dimensionality-
[1] Distance: The general formula for distance of a linear non accelerating object is-
d (distance) = v*t [v (velocity), t (time)]
Dimensions: Length (L)
[2] Size: Size is basically just Length as well.
Dimensions: Length (L) [Depending on the dimensional axis of the object we use to measure 'size' the power of it is exponentiated by said dimension amount]
1D: Length (L)
2D: Length (L)^2
3D: Length (L)^3
...
(3) Energy: The standard formula for Kinetic energy and energy in general is-
0.5*m*v^2 = E (K)
Dimensions: Length^2 (L^2)
Time^(-2) [T^(-2)]
Mass (M)
As you can see, to even Ignore 1 of these properties, you'd need to ignore what makes these properties as well, which are 3D space and TIME.
Since the plane EV accesses is higher dimensional, and ignores these concepts, it must ignore both SPACE and TIME, which only A 5D being can do!
(5) Further more, EV clarifies int he same chapter that his blade cuts through space itself further justifying this. We also get in some other chapters of space itself being refered to as a fabric, like how it is described in General relativity. This on top of Geno's mentioning this directly, roves the existence of a 4D space-time continuum at minimum.
Murata even oftens talks about string theory in his twitter and has even mentioned it directly just recently!
(6) Since EV's DS ignores distance, this means that Saitama would have to have infinite reaction speed and speed in general, possibly even immeasurable!
- Some people try to debunk this via FF (Flashy Flash) and Sonic, but they also forget how bot FF and Sonic didn't react to it, FF only knew it was coming, but didn't react to it.
- Some also try debunking this by saying "We see DS travel!" This is dumb, as even in JJK, we know that Domain Expansions have a sure hot effect but see Dagon's fishes take time to bite it's target, though it doesn't debunk it's sure hit affect. Similiarly, we see flash moving even when time traveling, but that doesn't negate his immeasurable speed. As you can see, often times things like this are depicted in fiction for various reasons, even if seemingly contradictory. But what matters is the context of the ability, which ultimately proves this speed tier for EV's dimension slash.
- This is also further justified by Blast needing to use portals to even dodge his slash! As such, further justifying this speed tier.
With all of this in mind, Saitama now, after ch 209, reasonably scales to the following-
Saitama (Low 1-C, infinite to possibly immeasurable speed, resistance to spatial hax on a 5D lvl and possibly even any dimensional level, resistance to durability negation on a 5D lvl and possibly even on any dimensional level.)

terra 3 is how i imagine saitama when ever he fights a character stronger than him, you have to understand that saitama is a gag character and can literally beat anyone he wants.
Saitama is truly one of a kind. Its not so much his fights that make the show interesting. If he's involved, its over quickly altho, very satisfyingly. But the interactions, and other characters are also great. Its been 10 years, and we still only have 2 seasons. Its the only anime outside of naruto that I have ever really liked. The comedy just hits me different with that series.
Saitama isnt defeating the 1 true god though. He's defeating lesser ones. The real god of that universe, is probably the one that removed his limiter in the first place. Which would make sense, because he defeats evil and monsters. And he's one of the most chill guys in the series. Outside of when he's playing video games, or fighting mosquitos and such.
