I'm an art history student and I've taken the past year off of school so I feel like watching those kinds of videos would be very informative and motivate me and inspire me to get back into reading about art history!! I think starting with pieces/artist that inspire you/interest you would be a great place to start. Also the drawings you did were so great! Loved seeing your progression in your art as the class went on. Keep up the good work! 💕

I loved this... recently I've been going through the exact same feeling and seeing this so clearly like looking in the mirror the twinge of fear and uncertainty, the initial conflict of trepidation, excitement and so many questions, and then the imminent fall from that crest into a low trough: it's awful, you're awful, you'll never be good enough, these people are so good, I'm such a phony! the crying in the bathroom -- I can feel that through the screen. It's so so hard to be a creative and to start on the odyssey to which may or may not even have a satisfying end (the unattainable dream AH!!!!). I've just finished a novel and have just started slowly, slowly, slowly, like a salted pistachio in a closed shell (you just want to get at it but you can't, not with nails nor teeth), opening it up to others to read and receiving feedback has been so so hard. But these things, like all things, like life, like relationships, like college, are processes and the important thing is to have a enjoy what you are doing while doing it. Can't wait to follow you on this journey Moya, so happy for you! xxxx
The video essay series is actually a really good idea. I usually find them really nice and interesting (if the research is done well which I’m sure you’ll do). I really love art as well and it’s clear your passion for it so I’d say go for it! ✨
