Honestly not enuf people are appreciating the lego original themes now We're surrounded by marvel and starwars i miss the days of atlantis, power miners, exo force and monster fighters everyone is focusing on pop culture fluff not that its bad but this set is just plain fun and not enuf people are appreciating it for that fact lego is fun.
I do, it's just not for me anymore, I've outgrown it, not age wise, I'm just no longer interested in buying themes like this. They look and are definitely great. I just prioritise other themes...like city,I've gotten back into city after like a decade
I love this and the smaller version - it’s stuff like this and the Nightmare shark that show a creative side to the company that seems rare these days.
Onky downside is the insane prices of some of these sets. Dreamz to me feels like thr creative side of late and early 90's lego to me and that is great! These have so many good play options and imagination is the only limiting factor!
I wish they had more original themes that while being based on things in real life would allow more space for imagination. Like those mars mission or similar sets that are separate from City.
I really love the dreamzzz sets, personally. They remind me of the days when LEGO would include inspiration photos for alternate builds on the boxes/instructions. Also the minifigures are amazing!
Thank you for being the single other person on this planet that I’ve heard talk about how the printing on the Never Witch’s face is 100000% Jem! My inner child was FREAKING OUT when I first noticed it, and again when (of course) YOU mentioned her! That song will now be stuck in my head for the remainder of the day, but I’m cool with it.. omg Jem was my idol. I had all of the dolls, the music, the lunch box- wait, no- I had a Barbie & The Rockers lunch box- maybe Jem wasn’t mainstream enough? Idk- anyway- THANK you for doing this review- I’ve been looking at this set just bc of how wacky and amazingly fun the colors are.. I love this line, if only for that reason lol. Thank you again, you are one person I look to for actual opinions & realistic reviews. I appreciate your dedication and continued effort despite the onslaught of sooooo many sponsored “influencers”. Much appreciated.
If anything Hidden Side was the spiritual successor of Monster Fighters. Dreamzzz doesn't feel like anything that has come before tbh. It has elements of Space and Castle...it's very unique
Definitely Chima too, but with the varied cast including people with disabilities which could be seen as a continuation of what they were going for with rodney rathbone and jack mchammer. Also it is the first theme since to have a proper vampire figure, not to mention consistently spooky bad guys. I think there’s a bit of both in dreamzzz
The DreamZzz line is a treasure. So much cool stuff, cool ideas, cool building techniques. It's really Lego flexing their creative muscles, as they do with the friends line.
From a dad and Lego fan perspective I don’t understand why dreamzzz fails. I love that some of the sets even offer a 3in1. And the different version are many times equal good in quality
This DreamzZZ series has been pretty cool ... this season they have too many mech/monster/vehicle things going on, but still ... I really appreciate them ... the buildings are wild, with great colours used, some of the vehicles have excellent potential (the turtle van and the hot air balloon) ... it reminds me a lot of the most recent dud series (that I also really liked) Hidden Side. What they've learnt from Hidden Side is to remove the transformative elements and just offer multiple build options, the transformative stuff made the sets unhandy to really play with because they were compromised in strength. Keep up the excellent work!
Thanks for the review! I love this theme but between this, Monkie Kid and Ninjago, there's only so much I can fit in my budget. Your reviews help a ton.
Most of the time when sets come out officially I can't help but think "I can't wait for Jang to review this" even on sets I don't normally like. So thank you for all the great reviews and I can wait patiently for all of them😄
Thanks Jang! 💜 You mentioned how Dreamzzz reviews are difficult for you in terms of effort spent vs views and I really do appreciate that you did this one. On spot and a pleasure to watch as always.
I’m glad they have another non licensed theme in mix but I do miss the smaller non licences theme from a few years ago, like marks mission and aqua raiders! Little themes that last a year or two and make a few really cool sets based on ~almost~ realistic scenarios!
With no legs to land on, and limited wing articulation, this big raven is giving vibes of the big fake bird that the ants built in A Bug's Life. Remember that? It was cool but too stiff to look real? Looks like a big plane or boat .
That's a dark purple recolour on that web piece, seen here first, rather than in a Spidey set! With the dark purple claw pieces on that (mostly) fantastic cauldron spider, I'm wondering if there's going to be more Spider Queen stuff in Monkie Kid next year (hopefully there's a "Strong Spider"). I far prefer the side-builds to the gunship gannet, so I'm going to try cloning them down the line. Great review, Jang. Thanks.
Appreciate the review. I think the Dreamzzz sets are a lot of fun, love the colors and some of the designs. Never watched the source material but been a fan of the sets since they started.
this was the first set i knew i absolutely had to get from the summer wave, i love the shaping and colours used on the raven, the DreamZzz villians sets are very good . only thing i dont quite like with the B model is that the upper rear looks a bit flat without the witch hut on top.
Yes, Baba-YagA!) "Baba Yaga the bended leg", dont ask, in Russian sounds wery rythmic. Баба ЯгА - кривая ногА) The fist word is Grandmother, second Yaga is a name. So the rythm is simple, on the last letter on the second word)
Holy snap. I didn’t think I I would get a Dreamzzz set, but I want this set. Baba Yaga’s house with chicken leg looks nice and the large crow doesn’t look bad as well, but will likely have me made a few modification to make it have legs and no hollow stomach.
Indeed, why does a random theme like this, get so much minifig details and quality stuf. And yet things like Star Wars just get left in the dust most of the times. “Quality? Nah, they’ll pay for it anyway.” is their new slogan or what?
Jang you need too. 2nd season is so good. ❤❤❤❤ This is my favorite of the 2nd wave of sets. So fun to build. In the Kego Store you can build most of the main characters in their waking World state right now.
Fun set. I wish I could just buy the hut on legs by itself. I did my own comic book and a character in the series is Baba Yaga, so would love to have a Lego representation of her and her hut. I also love the small raven, and would love to see more colors done as well.
One thing I found was weird is that the Never Witch's eyes are both the same color, but her promo art has her eyes being two different colors. However, the other woman evil person (the not fancy one) does have two different colored eyes. It was strange
A Lego baba yaga hut? That’s insane to me. Also Baba Yaga is the witch and flys in a mortar and steers it with a broom or a large pestle. The mythos with Baba Yaga. Also never witch hair would work freak for a Madilyn Pryor minifig
My theory behind why they don't - the produce a ton more SW figures than they do Dreamzzz figures, so for them, it is not a big deal to include them in smaller themes. But the SW stuff they do produce on a larger scale and maybe the profit for those cloth pieces isn't enough to justify including them in clone battle packs. I mean, yes, for the price we pay, as consumers, they should include them. But they charge those prices simply because they know enough SW and SW/Lego fans will pay them. Not because they are covering the extra costs for producing 600,000 Kama cloth pieces.
I got the big mech knight set, which also came with one of the minifig scale ravens. Mine only had the trans pink on one of the wings. Is that normal? I thought it might be something that varied from piece to piece, but looking at the one you got, I think I might have gotten a dud. Is this something worth bringing up to customer service to get a replacement?
That little Raven piece is so cool, but otherwise the theme doesn’t interest me enough to spend a significant amount of money on. This set is interesting, but it’s not $100 interesting to me
Honestly not enuf people are appreciating the lego original themes now We're surrounded by marvel and starwars i miss the days of atlantis, power miners, exo force and monster fighters everyone is focusing on pop culture fluff not that its bad but this set is just plain fun and not enuf people are appreciating it for that fact lego is fun.
I do enjoy Lego’s own themes
This gives me massive first wave Lego Chima vibes.
I do, it's just not for me anymore, I've outgrown it, not age wise, I'm just no longer interested in buying themes like this. They look and are definitely great. I just prioritise other themes...like city,I've gotten back into city after like a decade
Adventurers, Monster Fighters, Pharaoh’s Quest. Those were incredible themes. Not a huge fan of this one.
reminds me of chima. that was peak
I love this and the smaller version - it’s stuff like this and the Nightmare shark that show a creative side to the company that seems rare these days.
@@bongobeans8401 ya I picked up that set it's so good the magenta colour scheme is so comfy and weird I love it.

Side leg printing, new dual molded pieces and cloth waistcapes? Dreamzzz fans are eating good rn

As a dnd fan. This is a perfect set for tasha the witch queen figure
@@TTHBLOX_ ya it's great
DreamzZZ seems to be the spiritual successor to the beloved Monster Fighters series. Great looking set and great review, Jang!
Honestly I dont see monster fighters in this theme. More like Chima?
@@paulolemos1455 feels more like otherside + time cruisers to me
@@paulolemos1455 I don't see chima at all in these sets.

DreamzZZ is so underrated. Fantastically creative team. Love it.
I love Dreamzzz, its very colorful, whimsical, and wacky. Kudos to the designers, this looks great.
It's always nice to see pink being used in not specifically "girly" themes. It's a great color for magic-based stuff.
Also, that spider feels like something from Legend Of Zelda to me, for some reason
The look, minifigures, and the fact I have the shark ship already, make me want this set
Thanks for the review! I love this theme but between this, Monkie Kid and Ninjago, there's only so much I can fit in my budget. Your reviews help a ton.
Dreamzzz has some really imaginative sets. I want this one and the shark pirate ship thing
YES! Ive been waiting for you to cover this and maybe a couple of the other new releases. Thanks Jang❤️
Raven looks pretty cool, but man I love the look of the hut on legs and the cauldron spider. They look just so fun
I like the in house themes a lot more than the IP’s these days, this looks cool and fresh
Most of the time when sets come out officially I can't help but think "I can't wait for Jang to review this" even on sets I don't normally like. So thank you for all the great reviews and I can wait patiently for all of them😄
I really appreciate your videos, and they’re top notch. I refuse to watch any of the “early reviewers”. They are paid shills.
As a fan of Baba Yaga I do love the house. Needs so be compared to the AT-ATs.
Do you mean AT-ST?
@@Gzilla313 yes sir
Some of these lego dreamz sets make awseome and unique display sets. The minifigs included are great too! Big fan on this lego theme

They actually made a Baba Yaga look alike in a LEGO set? That is from one of the most scarier stories from Eastern Europe as well Russia.
Appreciate the review. I think the Dreamzzz sets are a lot of fun, love the colors and some of the designs. Never watched the source material but been a fan of the sets since they started.
Such an underrated line. They really are putting so much effort.
Ah finnaly after 10 years
A raven legend beast
The raven dual molded in black and Gray would be a cool realistic approach

Makes me want to see a Howl's Moving Castle set.
Dude this set is so cool. Had no idea it was a thing. Thank you for sharing!
I love that never witch figure. She looks like a crystal vampire bride if you put a dress piece on her
Feels like a Chima build honestly…
Raven looks EPIC great detail and minifigs awesome review jang 👍
I really like this set because it feels like Crystalized it back

I watch the early reviews from one channel but also watch yours to get that good perspective
Love the dual molded raven

The nightmare minifigures are insanely cool, the rest of the set has some new parts too, might have to get this one on sale
I have always found the lego dreamz sets intriguing. This however due to my love of magic, ravens and the unique color pallet I might get this.
Wonderful looking set and Good review.
Out of this world!🎉🎉🎉

Jang best lego youtuber
Would definitely fit the Chima Ravens
Great Review! This Set is definitely a Heater!
Thanks for your thoughts 🙏
This set is so cool. I want the price to drip so I can pick up 2 or 3.

I bought the amazing Shark Ship set. Will eventually get this Raven set to go with it.

Close enough welcome back Legends of Chima
Awesome set! Ninjago and dreamzzz are kicking it! Who needs marvel and star warzzz? 😂😂
May buy this to go with my Chima ravens
Jang is the GOAT
That raven reminded me of a feathery U-Wing.
Cant believe we actually got the baba Yaga
Isn't it possible to use the hut's legs for the raven? Looks like it would look really cool. ;)
ah yes the bird leg cabin
I love how they put a cloth "kama" in this set, but not on certain clones and stormtroopers which many Lego Star Wars fans would love.

I got mine on clearance waited until after Christmas
this and the cooper rex are my pickups from dreamzzz
The children, they yearn for chima…
What about Raven?
The raven is OK. But the Baba Yaga hut is really cool. Wish it came as its own small set.
Never bought a Dreamzzz set before. This might be my first.
DreamzZZ sets really fantastic! Like Miyazaki's movies :))
"Turn your back to the forest and face me!"
Honestly what a cool set
Baba Jaga is a Slavic term which comes from Slavic folklore.
can you attach the legs to the raven?
The eggtooth?

That's 100% Baba Yagas mini house lol. Cool set though. These dreamzz sets have some cool builds and bricks.
why cant i see this at a time when i have money its so good @_@
plz review the LEGO Dungeons and Dragons set
How big is the set
All my friends prefer the dreamz villains sets more than the dreamers sets
Lego should have made the legs and hut just attach to the bird.
I've never watched Dreamzzz but I want this for the minifigs; they went too hard on them 😭
Dreamzz is underrated. Full fantasy rollercoaster. Nice.
