- The Grammy Award-winning audio software Melodyne is, among other things, famous for its very precise and musical handling of dynamics. With the Sibilant Balance Tool in the new version 5, you can dive into each individual note and adjust the internal level ratios, between the pitched and un-pitched components of the voice. Sibilants can be attenuated, muted, emphasized or even isolated - syllable by syllable, if desired - giving you a very precise de-esser by the way. Exactly what I thought!! There must be a storyboard before you even start recording the music for the video (or there's an infinite backcatalogue...;)). Most impressive!....and, yeah, the software is also not bad...;)
The music track is mixed too loud compared to Voice over track, me thinks.
Finally sibilant detection! Over a decade of working with melodyne and I’d upgrade to 5 if that was the only feature.

This announcer is great, straight out of the 50’s radio voice (it’s a compliment). The other cat is cool, in fact SO cool I’m wondering if he watched a few early James Bond films to get that vibe JUST RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!

Quite unlikely, since Melodyne can only be so good because it thoroughly analyzes pre-recorded audio. But thanks for your suggestion.

Maybe (or surely) I didn't understand something, but it seems to me there's nothing really new here..I use in my vers.4 the amplitude tool and make the same things chirugically, only it takes me five more minutes ..my question is: worth 160 E. of update cost? Vers.4 is so beutiful and was a greater

I have 5 essential stand alone but I don't have this tool bar so no video is of any use to me. Why did I pay so much money for it if it doesn't have the tools? 😦
Melodyne essential is our entry-level edition and comes with a few basic tools only. The more advanced tools are available in the larger Melodyne editions.

I find Melodyne works much better in standalone then inside of Studio One for Tempo Mapping. In fact, it’s perfect outside of Studio One but when I use it in ARA it’s off. I’m using Studio One 6.6 and Melodyne Editor 5.

I am a mere hobbyist who can only justify so much money for audio hardware and software. I'm almost afraid to demo this product and fall in love with it, and then have to spend over $800 in order to keep the full version. :-) I'm thinking that Assistant will probably do what I want, however. Still afraid, however. :-)

But the leveling tool on an individual note can only be done with Melodyne Editor according to customer service at Celemony.
That’s not directly related to the leveling tool. In general, you can only access the individual notes in chords and other polyphonic material with our Melodyne editions that have the DNA Direct Note Access algorithm, i.e. Melodyne editor or Melodyne studio.

1) Wie kann ich die Akkorderkennung nutzen um z.b. die Akkorde eines Gitarrensamples zu erkennen?
2) wie kann ich die korrigierte Gesangsspur als Wave in meine DAW exportieren?

Hi, an Stellen, wo Bild und Musik nicht korrelieren, wäre es für mein Empfinden deutlich angenehmer, auf die Hintergrund (sic!) Musik zu verzichten, krasses Beispiel die Swoosh-Stellen, Sprechertext kämpft gegen die Musik. Das ist mein drittes Video und die Musik nutzt sich logischerweise bereits ab, aus diesem Impuls heraus schreibe ich hier. Habt ihr Einführungsvideos vielleicht auch auf Deutsch? Danke und Grüße :)

I can’t really believe that I have had Melodyne for years now and never really used it. With the features in 5 I would have saved so much time since it’s update. Time to start using it I think.
At the end of the day , he still had to see Cortez , meaning , he’s back tracking from surf. Cortez losing doesn’t damage him with Surf simply because he was always beneath him as far as what’s said from the community so it doesn’t matter. It’s not like Eazy won the battle to go against surf 🤷🏽♂️ he still has a big mountain to climb.
