Made a huge difference on my XC70, also replaced the center mount with blue poly aluminum mount from IPD. Going to do the lower engine/transmission mount upgrade from IPD next.
Hi there i think mine are pretty shot at as ive lots of wobble in each side and the top middle mount too, wonder if i do the side one it will help stiffen the middle one
mistergee2k10 probably not, they each have their own individual mounts, their will be a little bit of play in them but their should not be a lot. Usually the center upper engine mount goes first

5:45 😂😂 Also, is there not much weight held up by the upper motor mount? I had thought you would need to support the motor while doing this somehow
Nope no need to support the engine during this
This mount only prevents the engine from moving forward and backwards during operation

This upper mount limits forward and backwards engine movement.
