Swear to God, every night as I go to sleep, I put an Airpod in my year and in 5 minutes I'm in deep sleep with Simon's voice. I'm really fighting to stay awake as it's very interesting. But on the good side, the whole video plays in the background and it helps with TH-cam statistics for him :)
To be fair, cheesing Dark is the only way that I would have a 0.0000001% chance of beating Dark. It ain't much, but it's better than the 0% chance that I would normally have.
I bet when Dark gg'd in game 1, he both knew he could still win, and that he was winning 2 and 3 if he gg'd. So, knowing he had the series anyway, he gave Rebellion a point on the board as a sign of respect that he had the cojones to cannon rush a pro.
@@LowkoTV I think Dark knew he could win the game if he went on, but my guess would be he was respectfully admitting that he got caught off guard and IMO, if Rebellion had been slightly more collected, Dark knew Rebellion would have won. The issue was that he fumbled the late stage of that cannon rush. Basically, Dark acknowledged that it was a strong hat trick and conceded because he knew he´d win the next 2 games and possibly thought it was interesting that Rebellion could say "I won against Dark".
@@JustWatoo There's a difference between conceding to someone your equal and with someone a thousand and a half MMR below you. I'm pretty sure Dark knew he'd effectively held at that point - but it was going to take another 15-20 minutes to win, and the series wasn't on the line. It wasn't worth it - he likely could win the next two games faster than he could recover and win this one. Of course, if the series had been on the line, that would be a different matter.
Wow Lowko your depth of knowledge is incredible! As a protoss main you taught me something new :D I always placed a pylon next to the 3rd nexus to warp in units, I had no clue the positioning for an adept to squeeze in there and help with defense. Huge tip! One of those small things the pros do with their building placement that can give that slight edge... had nooo clue.
22:38 Yeah Starcraft have a powerful timedistorsion field . When i play i feel like im going fast but then i look at my replay and my 60APM and i cry :)
16:23 Imagine how that fight could have gone if Rebellion kept the energy on the oracles and placed down a stasis ward near his Nexus. With over charge, that could have been enough. Even placing it further out would make Dark wait a moment longer checking with single zerlings for more giving glaives that moment longer to finish
Nice to see the games that showcase how big the difference between a GM and a pro. It's like watching the olympics with a normal person as a contestant for comparison. It's not that the Protoss was a bad player, its just the skill difference was just way too big. Maybe you can do other matchups as well where only one player is a pro?
Dark in Game 1: "Did he just... cannon rush me?" Dark in Game 2: "Okay, first let's even the score..." Dark in Game 3: "I'm gonna teach this little shit a lesson."
yeah no wonder rebellion is playing protoss.. he isnt good enough in a straight up standard game...its like watching a gold League playing against a diamond league. he chose protoss the race with the most cheese potential.
I believe Lowko has officially guided me into my Nap-Sleeps more often than my parents lullabies did. Simon: your voice is so soothing 😂
Saw this comment as I laid down for a nap
Saw this comment after I woke up form my nap
Damn, I don't think I can fall asleep without Lowko anymore, I'm serious 😅
😂 same shit

12:26 "Finally, an opponent worthy of my full power!" - Serral, when he's behind, probably
"Back before the Brood War, we could fly."
- Brenda
(Hilarious.)
Rebellion might went "i didnt think i'd make it this far" and didnt think through his follow ups
It really did feel like that lol.
Your banter remains S-tier, Lowko. Thoroughly enjoyable content.

“Back before the broodwar..” 😂😂
Is Lowko really that old?? 😮
Apparently, Brenda's memory isn't as sharp as it was either....
You are the best caster ever!! seen your for last 6 yearsss

Lowko, you made my Day.... " It's important to keep your old limbs moving every once in a while. " Thank You. 😁
Dark up in eco, workers, army supplier and bases. Down in upgrades but surely that was a bad concede?
Yeah surely a misread. Hard to win for Zerg against the top tier Protosses but I think he could come back here for sure.

I think it was more a ‘why should I fight from behind to win this, I can just win the rest of the series’ concede.
@@DanStaal risky move from a guy who lost a series 2-0 to Reynor drone rushing him twice in a row

Wow I never knew queens couldn’t transfuse off creep now.
Today I learned Queens can't transfuse off of creep anymore. Times have definitely changed since HoTS LMAO
What??? Early gg on the first game or not?
In that last game it could not be Dark Templar Rush since he played Zerg...

Curious to know what happened to Bly. Used to love watching his crazy games!
Hi! Thanks for the videos!
Thanks for the video!
Nice to watch
Well you reap what you sow I guess :). Dark probably raised an eyebrow at least
4:13 lool
Can someone explain to me how you win? I haven’t played this game in awhile, and never played competitively

From 5k to 7k mmr there are only 200 ranks? 😮 Pretty sure you missed a 0 there 😂
Lowko been watching winter I see
hmm, feel like i've seen 3 dark games out of the last 4
Video is less than 30 min. Dark must get crushed by that rush.

Winter and pig are so much better than lowko.
Fanboi commenting. Need a PvP or PVT or TVT more than any zerg games NGL as everyone knows zerg is OP no question about it.

Pulling off a cheese certainly does take a level of skill, especially against players that are as strong as dark
