How you doing brother question if this body style the same as the CL500 is it radio system still the same when you did your radio system did you use the original speaker wires you knew radio and for the Ryan sub speaker somebody told me you can use adapter for your radio the washing your video I see that is not true now is it easy to install the radio hook up the wires from the original speaker wires and radio wire from the car I still have the steering wheel still working to the radio
Hey, do you have a video that shows how you got the stock radio out? I can't find it. I'm thinking about bypassing ALL the optical wires, running RCA's from the rear of the aftermarket deck to an amplifier but..... Now that I type that... I'm actually going to need to.... How did you wire the head unit? I see all the other wiring but not the head unit. Thanks
@@goldelementautoworks Yeah... She was a beautiful car on the outside.... Got tons of compliments... But she was trenobyl on the inside. I'm happy not to be an AMG mechanic anymore hahaha
just bought a 2005 cl55. could you wire in an aux and run all of your audio off of an ipad ? and do you know how hard it is to add subs to these cars ?
Yes, you can use the existing aux input in the glovebox for a iPad connection. And yes, I’ve connected just an amplifier to the existing OEM radio. I had this type of setup before I decided to pull it all out.

@@thisbiteshard1309 You have an OEM auxiliary headphone jack already in your glovebox, correct? If so, that’s how you play music from your phone into the car OEM radio. If you do not have that input in your glovebox, that’s another story. What do you already have?
marcusadams02 Oh yeah? See....on a previous CL500 I modified, I replaced all the speakers. I added and tapped into existing lines and took everything apart in order to do so. Your idea is the best, most effective way to do it. I’m getting a bit lazy in my later years. 😂 I don’t want to tear apart the doors and side panels. As of now.....no plans to do so yet.
Yes sir....it was a easy decision on my first CL because it was rough. I pulled out all the original interior and upgraded it with the Designo series interior of a wrecked one I owned. My CL55 is pristine so it’s a tough call. 😂 I’m tip toeing on this one.

Why didn't you run all new wires and not tamper with the factory system? I ran all new wires and all new speakers.
